Been saying it for a while, but very real chance that he gives us the best shot to win week in and week out. He's not going to make the dumb or inexperienced plays that the other QBs make. He's our version Stetson Bennett, doesn't look like much but just makes play after play.

Because the best QB on campus to run this offense would cause the board to implode. Trent Pearman would and could lead this offense, but we might lose the internet if he played meaningful snaps. He's played this offense for 6 years and has the leadership, swag, knowledge, football IQ and touch on his passes to make this thing work.

If Trent had a stronger arm and about 20 lbs of muscle he'd either be starting here or crushing it for someone like a Wake Forest, UCF or similar system. His football knowledge is right up there with someone like Tyler Venables.

It was really funny that we used to play Trent at CB some in middle school and we'd always put him on the other teams sideline because he had a knack for "stealing" signs or listening to them call the plays and he could pick up what they were doing pretty easily. It turns out that if you're raised in a high level football facility by a bunch of coaches you pick up the game pretty quickly.
