Yes, and all of these were voted on by Congress. You may disagree with the allocation of the funding, but those are beneficial to maintaining our good will in those regions and providing needed support. IDK about you, but I think providing assistance to the poorest regions that are typically breeding grounds for suicide bombers is a positive thing.

And while I agree anecdotally on helping poor regions, we have poor regions in this country that quite frankly are entitled to our resources. I have a serious problem watching what’s happening in NC, HI and CA while simultaneously funding a bunch of clearly partisan projects across the globe. It’s wrong. Take care of your house before you go sticking your nose in others business. We aren’t doing so well that we can afford to reallocate tax dollars to pet projects, people in your very community need that too. I pay taxes for them not the world. That’s my opinion.

It's not an either/or situation. We can provide support to issues both domestically and abroad. Hell, we're looking at increasing government spending in 2025 despite all of the "DOGE cuts", so it's not like any of their actions have been very successful.
