Hopefully he sticks in the realm of reality with this facts and figures. For example, saying we've sent $350b to Ukraine is not correct. It's more like $120b. It's a lot of money regardless, why falsely inflate the numbers? I so wish we could get an honest and factually accurate president. We all make mistakes from time to time on things like that but let's not do it constantly. Joe Biden could hardly utter a sentence without a lie in it. Let's not keep that up again. We've had so many lying presidents... how about we try honesty for a while?

Yes, we do. It's around $120b. It's not $350b. There is certainly fraud involved. Trump needs to stick to the truth and avoid his catch phrases. They undermine his credibility. Just the facts...first, last and always! The truth is bad enough as it is.
100%. Make your point, I may not agree with your goals, but to lie about it just makes me not take him seriously.
I do honestly wonder if he knows the truth, he has a unique ability to lie so frequently and with such total dedication to the lie that I wonder if he even recognizes the truth.
His compass generally points to the reality but he always has to exaggerate things. He's completely hyperbolic 100% of the time and it drives me insane. It's not super often he just flat out creates a total fiction from no basis in reality. Before you jump me, just remember I said it's not super often. I didn't say never.
The last President just made shit up constantly. Stuff that wasn't even true just shot right out of his ass. A lot of folks here let that go and even said he was a good guy. It's OK to dislike Trump. He's a real dick sometimes and he does go over the top with almost everything. But my wish is that we'd just be consistent in that if we value the truth, let's always value it even when it's our guy/gal doing the lying.

We had a friend over to our house last week who is much,much more liberal than I am. Slwe were discussing the last election, and I was saying that the Democrats need to move to the middle, Find some better candidates, and be willing to provide some common sense on topics that freak out the right such as Trans Rights. You can say that we need to value their rights as an adult to live their life as they want, you can resoect and defend their legal rights to be employed, etc, while still saying that the situation with the swimmer at Florida was wrong and unfair.
When I left the room, she told me wife she thought I was a closet Trump fan(which didn't go well for her with my wife lol). I don't cheer for a team, they are candidates who need to win my vote, I don't work for them. I am very much a realist and truly pretty moderate.
We have got to get away from so much "teams mentality" to political parties. There are definitely Republicans who I would have voted for in the last election. I can't stand Trump and thinks he's scum, regardless of which party he claims at the time.
The Trump hate is driving the division between the parties. When the POTUS position on an issue is the one of common sense liberals are going out of the way to support the opposite.

There is extreme division when you have a South African running our American government. The South African towers over Trump and dresses like a bum in the White House, Trump seems scared of the guy. They are actually stealing from the poor and making rich people richer. This goes directly against God's word. People who oppress others will end up in poverty. Poverty having multiple meanings. People are praying more now than ever. At our church, we are having overflow crowds. Never before have we had this many people attending as they know that this guy is destroying lives on a daily basis.

I’ll be watching to see if the MAGA crowd acts offended at the democrat disruptions. I hope they just ignore them. No room to complain based on previous behavior by MAGA to democratic presidents.
I see your reasoning but Trump has access to more information than any of us. I do acknowledge that he can be prone to some exaggeration.

I wish there was a fact-check bubble over his head that flashed LIE every time he told one. It would be blinking constantly.
He's such a terrible public speaker. It's really kind of crazy how bad he is. But then we've all read his Tweets so maybe it really shouldn't surprise me.
It is probably because he had a stutter as a kid. Not really but it worked for Biden
