Trump addressing Congress 03/04

Yes all hail our oligarch overlords who definitely have our best interests at heart? I’m sorry you think you’re helping the country by supporting this, but you’re not. I hope you are able to snap out of it when 4 years from now the country is in significantly worse shape than it is today and millions of Americans are worse off than they are today. I think the country’s biggest challenge will be reconciling with its mistake in 4 hours and voting for actual common sense and not fascist oligarchy in a populist costume. Of course, voting may no longer be a thing or elections may be even more tampered with than they were this time. We’ll see.
Embarrassing

If you’re so far gone that you think this administration actually has the average Americans interests at heart it would be a waste of my time trying to explain to you the macro scale ramifications of the proposed legislative changes. I’m not going to waste my time typing out a thought out response that’s going to be met with “lol, libs are snowflake queers who hate women. Get owned loser”
I know Joe Biden and the entire Democratic Party hate everything to do with a strong, independent, free and successful America. They tried to censor, eliminate women’s spaces, they allowed immigrants and fentanyl to pour over our borders, wasted billions on woke bullshit, they did nothing for the common man. You can keep that garbage. And pretending you know something about macro economics and the ramifications of certain policy is laughable. You can’t even answer a simple question.

To think that they’re trying “normalize” Gavin newsome is wild. That guy will be their next hero.
They are trying desperately to prop him up.

Personally I think k he has too much baggage. He will be crushed over the wildfires and being related to Nancy Pelosi, and the fall of San Francisco

Plus, I’d argue California does not relate to the rest of the country right now.

As we stand here today, Gavin would not beat Vance I don’t think. It may be close in 4 years, but not as it is now.

Broken:
JUST IN: MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace politicizes young DJ’s moment at Trump’s speech, says she hopes he doesn’t k*ll himself because of something like Jan 6.

Holy sh*t

“I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer, but I hope he never has to defend the United States capitol against Donald Trump's supporters.”

“And if he does, I hope he isn't one of the six who loses his life to su*cide.”

Appropriate description of President Trump from Britt Hume. Pucker up libs and haters as it's going to be a long 4 years for yall.

Right on! He is talking about law and order and how there are criminals all over America, but he releases sixteen hundred killers to the streets of America. You need some type of spiritual awakening to support this super hypocrite. This is not about Democrats being divisive, this is about decent human being fighting against evil and fascism.
1600 killers????????????????????

The overwhelming majority of America has rejected the left, and supports common sense. Thank God for such a strong President.

Americans finally see through manufactured lib protests and fake outrage.
They only polled people who told them beforehand they were watching the speech and only 20% of those people were Democrats so...

I wouldn't call the outrage fake, you're just ignoring what they're mad about.

20%? Right. Because most Americans don’t agree with this.

That actually makes sense as the percentage of democrats in America is much closer to 20% after all the vile things they’ve supported over the last few years. They’ve become kings and queens of the 20%ers.

Edit: I don’t wanna offend your many genders libs. They’ve become the asexual royalty of the 20% not the kings and queens (that’s phobic).

What’s this?

You’re rebuttal to sanity is this guy?

This speech is a blasphemous, putrid, shit-soaked inferno of absolute, weapons-grade insanity—a unhinged, drooling madhouse projectile-barfing gibberish about transgender mice, fictional 300-year-old Social Security leeches, frothing-at-the-mouth vaccine psychosis, and a smug, delusional chest-thump over wokeness being torched to ashes. Not a single ****ing whisper about smashing inflation into the dirt, dragging our miserable education system out of the gutter, or stopping Social Security and Medicare from swan-diving into a bottomless pit of doom. It’s a soul-crushing, IQ-melting shitstorm—a total ****ing abomination—and yet, those Republican ****wits rocket up, drooling and whooping like lobotomized circus seals tweaking on meth.

I chose to respond to a post in which I was tagged and in response you decided to bomb me with propaganda tweets. Turnabout is fair play but don't you think his words were beautifully said? Gave me chills

While I don't agree with everything he's doing, there's no denying that was a good speech. The democrats look lost. Trump is at least executing on a broad agenda and delivering on campaign promises.

A substance-free reply from a Trump supporter. Can’t say I’m surprised. Enjoy your next 4 years of American decline. I guess it’ll be worth it since the libs are mad and getting owned right?

Trump did great. Way better, and more focused then I think he's ever been. He thew a gratuitous jab at Pocahontas for laughs but other than that i think he was on point.

The democrats did better than I expected as well. At least after that first tantrum they managed to make asses of themselves fairly quietly.

It was a good speech only if you enjoy being lied to.

“We won the popular vote by big numbers and won counties in our country 2,700 to 525.”
This is misleading. Trump won the popular vote in 2024 but only by a small margin (1.5%), one of the smallest in modern history.

“Illegal border crossings last month were by far the lowest ever recorded.”
False. February had about 8,300 border encounters, far from historic lows. In the early 1900s and 1960s, annual crossings were much lower.

“Hundreds of thousands of illegal crossings a month, and virtually all of them including murderers, drug dealers, gang members and people from mental institutions and insane asylums were released into our country.”
False. While crossings were high under Biden, there’s no evidence that most migrants were criminals or from institutions.

“I withdrew from the unfair Paris Climate accord, which was costing us trillions of dollars.”
False. The Paris Accord is nonbinding, and the U.S. set its own commitments. Trump’s cost estimates come from industry-backed studies that ignore benefits.

“We ended the last administration’s insane electric vehicle mandate, saving our autoworkers and companies from economic destruction.”
False. Biden promoted EV incentives, not a mandate. Automakers had already committed to EVs due to global trends.

“I have directed that for every one new regulation, 10 old regulations must be eliminated.”
False. No reliable metric shows Trump cut more regulations than past presidents. Studies found his claims exaggerated.

“We’ve ended weaponized government where, as an example, a sitting president is allowed to viciously prosecute his political opponent like me.”
False. No evidence Biden directed prosecutors against Trump.

“We inherited from the last administration an economic catastrophe and an inflation nightmare.”
False. Trump inherited low unemployment, falling inflation, and strong growth.

“We suffered the worst inflation in 48 years. But perhaps even in the history of our country, they’re not sure.”
False. Inflation peaked at 9% in 2022, lower than the 1970s and post-WWII spikes.

“Joe Biden especially let the price of eggs get out of control.”
Misleading. Egg prices spiked due to bird flu, not Biden’s policies.

“The appalling waste we have already identified … We found hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud.”
Unproven. Claims rely on questionable math, miscategorized spending, and false fraud allegations.

“…$45 million for diversity, equity and inclusion scholarships in Burma …”
False. The funding was for scholarships in Myanmar, not DEI programs.

“…$10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique …”
False. It was a public health initiative to reduce HIV/AIDS.

“…$20 million for the Arab Sesame Street in the Middle East. It’s a program. $20 million for a program …”
False. The main funding came from private foundations, not U.S. government grants.

“…$59 million for illegal alien hotel rooms in New York City …”
Misleading. NYC received a grant for migrant housing at standard, not luxury, rates.

“We have hundreds of thousands of federal workers who have not been showing up to work.”
False. Many federal employees telework, but Trump’s numbers are exaggerated.

“It was one of the main reasons why our tax cuts were so successful in our first term, giving us the most successful economy in the history of our country.”
False. The economy was strong, but not the best in history—other periods had higher growth and lower debt.

“Over the last three months about Mexico and Canada, but we have very large deficits with both of them. But even more important, they’ve allowed fentanyl to come into our country at levels never seen before.”
False. Mexico is the main source of fentanyl, not Canada.

“We pay subsidies to Canada and to Mexico of hundreds of billions of dollars.”
Misleading. Trade deficits aren’t subsidies, and Trump’s numbers are exaggerated.

“We have had $1.7 trillion of new investment in America in just the past few weeks.”
Dubious. Claims rely on recycled announcements, vague commitments, and unrelated Biden-era policies.

“Not long ago. And you can’t even believe these numbers. 1 in 10,000 children had autism. 1 in 10,000. and now it’s 1 in 36. There’s something wrong.”
Misleading. The rise is partly due to better diagnosis and broader definitions.

“But it was built at tremendous cost of American blood and treasure. 38,000 workers died building the Panama Canal.”
False. The actual number was under 6,000, mostly non-Americans.

“Europe has sadly spent more money buying Russian Oil and Gas than they have spent on defending Ukraine — by far!”
False. Military and humanitarian aid for Ukraine exceeded energy spending.

“We’ve spent perhaps $350 billion [on Ukraine], like taking candy from a baby. That’s what happened. And they’ve [the E.U.] spent $100 billion.”
False. U.S. aid was $183 billion, while the EU’s total support exceeded that.

“Biden has authorized more money in this fight than Europe has spent by billion and billions of dollars.”
Misleading. The EU has committed and spent more than the U.S., but disbursement rates differ.

@scotchtiger

Read some of your posts and generally you try to be moderate and common sense where for theatrics and just for giggles I will purposely drive off the rails

Generally agree with Trump policies

He has a very aggressive Art of The Deal style so it turns off a lot of people who don’t know how to play major league ball

Most are little league

Trump would be a Nick Saban if coaching

He finds a need and weakness and creates leverage in his favor to exploit the opponent

Clearly the US is a HUGE LEVER

In general everything Trump is doing needed doing as every business needs to be revitalized during it ‘d life cycle

Trump is doing what scares the elites and deep state as they had gotten comfortable with their nests

SO HAVE AT IT TRUMP AND SHAKE THE BUSHES
