Trump Administration Updates

the EO makes English the official language of government and it removes any mandates that government services need to be offered in any other language but English.
Can we mandate that our English speaking population learn the difference between your and you're and dominate/dominant?

BREAKING: Newly Confirmed Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon, within minutes of being confirmed launches "Final Mission" of the Department of Education.

"Send it back to The States."

In her letter, obtained by Fox, she will be informing all Department of Education Employees that she will be leading this final mission:

"Our job is to respect the will of the American people and the President they elected, who has tasked us with accomplishing the elimination of bureaucratic bloat here at the Department of Education—a momentous final mission—quickly and responsibly."

Tear it down.

This is what I voted for.

Ok. I thought he meant surgical masks as a throwback to Covid times.

Honestly I don't know how you legally say people can't wear masks If they want to.
Good point. They might have to try and pass some laws related to wearing masks while in protest zones.

The Trump magic is starting to percolate. This will help young families and its going to get better.

Mortgage rates plunge to lowest level in more than a year

WashingtonCNN —
US mortgage rates plummeted this week after weaker-than-expected employment data raised the odds of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates next month. It’s a big step in the right direction for America’s notoriously unaffordable housing market.

The standard 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.47% this week, mortgage financing giant Freddie Mac said Thursday. That’s down substantially from last week’s average of 6.73% and marks the lowest level since May 2023. This week’s drop was the biggest since late December.

Mortgage rates have steadily fallen over the past several weeks since reaching a 2024 peak of 7.22% in early May. Rates are down from a two-decade high seen late last year.

“The decline in mortgage rates does increase prospective homebuyers’ purchasing power and should begin to pique their interest in making a move,” said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s chief economist, in a release.

“Additionally, this drop in rates is already providing some existing homeowners the opportunity to refinance, with the refinance share of market mortgage applications reaching nearly 42 percent, the highest since March 2022.”

I don't know who needs to hear this but cutting illegal aliens out from illegally receiving Medicaid doesn't mean cutting Medicaid for actual American citizens.

In fact, doing so only makes Medicaid better/stronger for Americans.

If you don't understand this then you're either dumb AF or compromised...and perhaps both.

Another one of those common sense things that everyone should be for.

Who wouldn't like another federal holiday? The working man in this country could use more days off. Who wouldn't be for elections that are fair with increased security so that only verified US citizens voting? Who wouldn't be for a system that makes it harder/impossible for a hacker to clandestinely influence the outcome?

This is not an 80/20 issue it's a 90/10 issue that even the Dems should be able to coalesce around...

... And come up with a way to unite on the 10% side because they hate that Trump more than they love America.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told the NY Economy Club: “The first time I went to see President Trump he looked at me and said ‘how do we get this debt and deficit down without killing the economy?’ ... I’ve been thinking about this for 18 months and [the way to do it is] the transition from a public sector to private sector [driven economy]… 25 percent of GDP goes through [Washington DC] Area code 202.”

JUST IN: The Department of Justice announces two active duty U.S. Army soldiers, Jian Zhao, and Li Tian, along with former U.S. Army soldier Ruoyu Duan were arrested today for theft of Government property and bribery.

In Oregon, prosecutors claim that starting around November 28, 2021, and continuing through at least December 19, 2024, Duan and Tian—along with others—conspired to secretly collect and share classified U.S. Army data. Tian, an officer, is accused of gathering technical manuals and details on weapon systems like the Bradley and Stryker fighting vehicles, then passing them to Duan for cash.

A separate indictment in Washington state reveals that Supply Sergeant Jian Zhao allegedly began conspiring in July 2024 to steal and sell national defense secrets.

Zhao is charged with trafficking classified hard drives—some labeled “SECRET” and “TOP SECRET”—to contacts in China, negotiating their sale for at least $10,000. He’s also accused of stealing an encryption-capable computer and sensitive documents, including details on the HIMARS rocket system and U.S. military readiness for a potential conflict with China. In total, Zhao allegedly pocketed at least $15,000, flouting his duty to safeguard America’s secrets.
