🇺🇸 BREAKING: HOUSE RULES COMMITTEE APPROVES TRUMP'S "BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL" AFTER MARATHON SESSION

The House Rules Committee voted to advance Republicans' massive tax and spending package to the floor after Speaker Mike Johnson made key amendments to win over GOP holdouts during a nearly full-day meeting.

The multitrillion-dollar legislation now heads to the House floor, with lawmakers notified to return to Capitol Hill for a late-night vote series that could extend into the early morning hours.

The bill includes accelerated Medicaid work requirements, expanded state and local tax deductions, and faster elimination of clean energy tax credits—changes designed to satisfy various Republican factions.

Johnson successfully navigated his narrow three-seat majority to get the legislation through the Rules Committee, marking a crucial step toward passing Trump's domestic policy agenda through the House.

This is big.

GAS PRICES DROP TO 4-YEAR LOW: Gas prices, heading into one of the year's busiest travel weekends, are at a four-year low, down 14% from last year, largely due to declining crude oil prices.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported on Monday that the retail price of regular-grade gasoline in the U.S. averaged $3.17 per gallon, 11% lower than a year ago.

As of Monday:

West Coast: Average of $4.29 per gallon on Monday, down 10% from this time last year.

Gulf Coast: Average of $2.79 per gallon, down 13% from this time last year.

East Coast: Average of $2.99 per gallon, down 17% from last year.

Midwest: Average of $3.03 per gallon, down 15% from last year.

Rocky Mountains: Average of $3.13 per gallon, down 12% from last year.

Thank you, President Trump!

JUST IN: Interim National Security Adviser and Secretary of State Marco Rubio has placed over 100 officials at the National Security Council at the White House on administrative leave on Friday, according to CNN.

“An email from NSC chief of staff Brian McCormack went out around 4:20 p.m. informing those being dismissed they’d have 30 minutes to clean out their desks, according to an administration official. If they weren’t on campus, the email read, they could email an address and arrange a time to retrieve their stuff later and turn in devices.”

“The email subject line read: “Your return to home agency,” indicating that most of those affected were detailed to the NSC from other departments and agencies.”

“Those put on leave include career officials, as well as political hires made during the Trump administration,” CNN reports.

Marco Rubio has been by far Trump’s best cabinet selection.

Teeing it up for all the self appointed oil industry experts.

Teeing it up for the uber-dunces who believe the things Alex Jones says

"No, the cost of gasoline has not dropped by a dollar since Donald Trump took office on January 20, 2025. Based on available data, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was around $3.10-$3.13 in mid-January 2025, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) and AAA. As of late April 2025, the most recent reported figures, the national average was approximately $3.13-$3.18 per gallon. This shows a slight increase or near stability, not a $1 decrease. Claims of significant drops, such as prices below $2, are misleading and often confuse wholesale fuel contract prices (e.g., RBOB gasoline futures) with retail pump prices."

DEEP STATE: When Trump began hearing details about his intelligence briefings from Susan Rice on MSNBC it became clear it was time for a house cleaning at the NSC. As many as 100 members of the council were sent packing on Friday when it was clear they were working for the deep state and not the president.

In other words, National Security is the least of their concerns at Trump's NSC.

Bongino going on air to cry about having to be in the office 12hrs a day is hilarious. Welcome to the life of any financial analyst/law associate. Big tough guy crying about working hard :( :(

Interesting that you got him "whining" out of that 20sec sound bite.

He left a better paying gig with less stress and responsibiliy anbd better hours to be 2nd bananna at the FBI. Not something that he or the fam had been expecting or talking aobut. Big change for the fam.

Well, it's a 45 second clip, not 20 sec sound bite, of him crying about having to be away from his family. He could've turned down the nomination - no one forced him into that position. I highly doubt he didn't have this conversation with his wife/family leading up to his nomination and prior to when he accepted the nomination.

I'm mostly taking the piss, but it's funny seeing him cry about having to work 12 hr days when there's millions of people in the US who have to do that every day - usually for less money than the ~$200k/year he makes.

Ok. I'm with you. Sure he probably talked with his fam before taking it but it doesn't realy sink in.

Bongino probably worked some pretty long days and weeks as a cop and secret service agent, so i'm confident that he got that T-shirt. But maybe his family didn't (not sure when he was married and had kids) . Lol.

No doubt he and his fam thought that he woudl be working Podcaster and TV talking head hours for the rest of his life prior to all this. It probably took a little bit and some normal family issues to come up before reality set in. lol.

While i'm sure it might be theoretically possible to have some capability in place i don't see anythign being anywhere near "complete" in 4 years even with several rounds of moving goalposts. Also going to have to protect our key military infrastructure in the pacific first.
I have to give them props for using “fully operational” like it’s the Death Star. That was a nice touch.

🚨 TREASURY SECRETARY SCOTT BESSENT: "We want the U.S. to be more like Florida and less like New York."

YES! 💯🔥

"New York spends about $235 billion a year, Florida spends about $125 billion. Both states have approximately the same number of people, but Florida doesn't have an income tax."

"And I can tell you having lived in both, it's better not to have an income tax, and Florida gives better services."

Not good.

Kash doesn’t explicitly say it here, but he certainly alludes to it:

Once you appreciate that the fentanyl precursors and fentanyl superlabs are operating virtually unabated in CCP-infiltrated Canada, you will appreciate what I mean when I say Canada has become a national security threat to the United States of America.
