While i'm sure it might be theoretically possible to have some capability in place i don't see anythign being anywhere near "complete" in 4 years even with several rounds of moving goalposts. Also going to have to protect our key military infrastructure in the pacific first.
Good!
🚨 BREAKING: President Trump is set to sign executive orders boosting NUCLEAR POWER in the USA, easing regulations on approvals for new reactors, possibly tomorrow.
He will do so by invoking the COLD WAR-era Defense Production Act, declaring an emergency over our reliance on Russia and China for nuclear deployment and to streamline processes to get them built - Reuters
This is big.

"No, the cost of gasoline has not dropped by a dollar since Donald Trump took office on January 20, 2025. Based on available data, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was around $3.10-$3.13 in mid-January 2025, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) and AAA. As of late April 2025, the most recent reported figures, the national average was approximately $3.13-$3.18 per gallon. This shows a slight increase or near stability, not a $1 decrease. Claims of significant drops, such as prices below $2, are misleading and often confuse wholesale fuel contract prices (e.g., RBOB gasoline futures) with retail pump prices."
I just proved by comment - prove yours.Alex is correct. You also claiming water is not wet?
Good ole maga boys can do what they want and get away with it as long as they vote for Trump
In other words, National Security is the least of their concerns at Trump's NSC.
DEEP STATE: When Trump began hearing details about his intelligence briefings from Susan Rice on MSNBC it became clear it was time for a house cleaning at the NSC. As many as 100 members of the council were sent packing on Friday when it was clear they were working for the deep state and not the president.
This should have happened 40 years ago. We can't manage our own house, but we send billions to other countries to fix theirs.
Interesting that you got him "whining" out of that 20sec sound bite.Bongino going on air to cry about having to be in the office 12hrs a day is hilarious. Welcome to the life of any financial analyst/law associate. Big tough guy crying about working hard![]()
Well, it's a 45 second clip, not 20 sec sound bite, of him crying about having to be away from his family. He could've turned down the nomination - no one forced him into that position. I highly doubt he didn't have this conversation with his wife/family leading up to his nomination and prior to when he accepted the nomination.Interesting that you got him "whining" out of that 20sec sound bite.
He left a better paying gig with less stress and responsibiliy anbd better hours to be 2nd bananna at the FBI. Not something that he or the fam had been expecting or talking aobut. Big change for the fam.
Ok. I'm with you. Sure he probably talked with his fam before taking it but it doesn't realy sink in.Well, it's a 45 second clip, not 20 sec sound bite, of him crying about having to be away from his family. I'm mostly taking the piss, but it's funny seeing him cry about having to work 12 hr days when there's millions of people in the US who have to do that every day - usually for less money than the ~$200k/year he makes.
I have to give them props for using “fully operational” like it’s the Death Star. That was a nice touch. While i'm sure it might be theoretically possible to have some capability in place i don't see anythign being anywhere near "complete" in 4 years even with several rounds of moving goalposts.
