The same thing CANNOT happen without the bill if the border agents don't have the resources to stop the numbers coming across and they have told us they do not. The bill would also have put cutting edge technology in place to stop the flow of fentanyl. You're naive if you think the border was closed under Trump and if you think it won't cost money to enforce any executive actions to clamp down on it. Again, it was a bi-partisan bill that Trump wanted killed so that HE could use it as a political cudgel against Biden and then try to solve it if he gets elected. Which means, if it can wait, then it must not be the emergency that Republicans claim it is - right?
