He has to be stopped. I can't vote for him again. I will not vote for him again. He has lost his way in every way possible. It is becoming more apparent that he is ,in fact, going to run again and we need to make sure that he's not nominated. The stains of his ego and warped views need to be washed away permanently. Send him into exile.

besides, he's been gone 2 years. the obsession over him as this boogeyman figure who plans to rule as a dictator instead of any logical assessment is an exponentially larger, and more importantly, actually real problem than the wildest fantasies about his intentions or repercussions could be.
people attach outlandish qualities and apply irrational ambitions they declare as truths despite a complete lack of any empirical evidence. by extension, they apply archaic and barbaric values to any and all who could support such a malevolent leader to differentiate themselves in their moral superiority.
the reality is he's an entertainer, and quite frankly maybe the funniest person on the planet, who loves attention and is sensitive to public criticism. what he also exhibits is the ego to stand his ground unapologetically whether it be a response to criticism or a challenge to a decision he believes to be the right one.
so many people take this primitive approach that can only assess at the surface level; they confuse the symptom for the problem. they compound the error by treating it with vitriol and condescension that the problem feeds off of. a big part of solving the problem requires an honest self-assessment and a genuine interest in solving it. whether its a lack of ability or interest, there's been no progress there. let go of trump - getting rid of him solves nothing - work on how we got to him with an honest assessment and we might actually get somewhere. or don't and there will be another ghost to chase before the cell door closes. that'll continue successively with considerably more painful and life threatening symptoms until there's nothing left to save

Yeah - I'm hoping this can cause enough of an issue that the GOP realizes that there are better options than Trump. DeSantis can stand toe-to-toe with him I believe.
But here is the key for the GOP - DO NOT HAVE 15 CANDIDATES IN THE PRIMARY!!!! If you look at the 2016 primary, Trump very seldom carried over 50%. But he had the highest single block of voters. Example - he would carry 35% or so, with the remaining 65% split up to 15 different ways (typically 2-3 other candidates were the vast majority).
Honestly if Trump is on the ballot in 2024 I probably won't vote for either candidate. Might write in Poppy A.
I tend to vote R but they need to get away from Trump and throw MTG out on her not-so-cute ass.
But the more the Dems talk about him, the more they actually embolden him.
I will support him if he is the nominee with a smile on my face.
