Dabo was crucified for his MLK comments by the media.

I think Dabo respects the office of POTUS. I doubt very seriously Dabo "loves" Donald Trump. Trump represents almost the exact opposite of everything Dabo stands for.
You are probably right. Dabo loves people who are vindictive, conceited, cheated on all three wives, lies constantly, cheats in business, mean spirited, never goes to church, brags on himself and uses a fake tan and a comb over. Did I miss anything?
We had to live with a pathological liar for 8 years who accomplished squat. I can live with a big mouth that accomplishes, or attempts to accomplish, campaign promises. But I digress.

Links? Some media members reported on the criticism of Dabo (mainly from a clemson professor). I dont remember seeing members of the media "destroying" or "crucifying" him.
Just about the only time I've weighed in on a political thread. Unless you have spoken to Dabo directly, we have no idea if he "loves" Trump or not.

Not a betting man and we'll never know, but I'd bet anything Dabo voted for Trump. No way possible he could ever vote for Hillary.
They got along great 2 years ago. Each raves about the other.
The only thing I am sure of regarding this topic is that Dabo would be exponentially better as the POTUS than the current individual who occupies that office.

I have been in discussions with Swinney about his private time in the Oval Office with the president. Some very funny stories including having the prez point out the side hallway "Bill and Monica" room when Swinney asked to go to the restroom. Trump to Dabo, "Gross. Just gross."

I could definitely see them being great friends. They are very similar in a lot of respects. Men of great conviction that believe in doing what they think is right even if it is unpopular.

There really can’t be two people that do things more differently than Dabo and the imposter. Donald Trump is one of the worst leaders the world of politics or business have ever seen; Dabo one of the greatest. One is humble, one doesn’t begin to even begin to understand the definition of humility; one uses people for his own gain and one develops people and relies on them for mutual gain.
Unfathomable to me that people somehow equate the two...insulting to Dabo.
Cool, man. I'm not talking about whether you like the man's policies or not. Heck, I like most them. But even if you like his policies, you should be able to admit that he's a pretty disgusting, weird person. It's a lot more than just having a "big mouth."

Saban is a democrat, and him and Saban are very close friends. Just like many guys on Clemson's staff aren't trump supporters
