Trump not playing games

Scaramucci already done.
sounds like john kelly isn't playing games, and trump is empowering his generals.

it is one of the few things i've approved of that trump has done... pushed power to the generals and put brilliant generals (flynn is the exception) in cabinet positions.

FWIW, Flynn was at a time a brilliant general, but clearly did not make the transition to administration / executive branch with the grace others have (Mattis and Kelly)

Interesting that this hasn't made the round table yet and it's close to an hour old... Come on pro Trump mods, at least PRETEND to be impartial. My anti Trump posts make the round table in about 10 min or less.

This White House is a F#%%# circus. 71 years old and I ain't never seen shit like this. And I lived through the Nixon administration.
I would agree it sure seems like it, but I think the difference now is that we hear about every little thing that happens. And now, with social media being what it is, not only do we hear about every thing, but then it gets regurgitated and reframed over and over on Twitter, FB, TI, etc. to suit each person's agenda. I really do think this is the difference.

Consider yourself lucky, hopeful, if it's only your anti Trump stuff that gets shuffled off to the Round table in record time.

FWIW, I think Kelly is a REALLY good hire as a WH Chief of Staff. Kind of like McMaster was as a National Security Advisor. Notice we haven't heard his name much. That's as it should be. Same here. If you hear about the WH Chief of Staff, it's generally not a good thing.

This will definitely fix the organizational problems and people not being on the same page. No organization that Kelly is head of will ever be disorganized.

However, the White House is not the Marine Corps and the staffers there are not soldiers. We'll have to see how Kelly's skills transfer over b/c he'll be dealing with a lot of Congressional Folks that do not answer to either him or the president. Simply strong arming them won't work... Personally, I think Kelly will do fine here, but there's definitely cause for concern.

Really? So who hired him in the first place? Who fired him in less than 2 weeks? In what way does this make Trump look anything but bad?

So either Trump is really messing up with the hires OR he is playing games.

I suspect that Kelly got rid of him as a condition of being WH chief of staff. No WAY Kelly is dumb enough to have that loose cannon running around outside his control.

On another note. I talked to a good friend of mine today Ayham Joudeh from Damascus, Syria. He said that the Obama administration gave terrorist in Syria 500 hundred million dollars to fight Bashar al-Assad government but they have killed over 1 million Christians to date. I don't know if the Trump administration is still supporting them or not.

seems legit.

Agree it's magnified but might as well get used to it. I'm pulling for trump because he's our president but anybody who thinks this has been anything less than a shitshow is fooling themselves IMO.

To be fair, OAN is pretty bad. They're on the level of a Mother Jones of the left or The Young Turks.
Yeah but the man's family lives there or did. Has had several members of the family killed either by terrorists or being in the military. Rest of the family has left the country.

Cryer's gonna cry...

He said it's on one American News but hey what does people that live there know.
so international estiamates for the total casualites in the syrian civil war are around 400K, and just by the sheer population demogrpahics most of those are absolutely muslim.

Now are the Syrian rebels the US supports killing Christians... almost certainly yes, as Assad who they are opposed to is taking in Christians. But those numbers make no sense, and I've seen no evidence that they are targeting Christians, it appears they are targeting the Assad regime.

As it is a 3 way war, and we know Isis is targeting and committing genocide against Christians, any christian deaths as a result of Isis should be removed from your figures.

But my overwhelming point was... when we fought the American revolution, we were not terrorists killing Christians, we were revolutionaries killing Brits, they just so happened to be Christians.

You can believe whatever you like.

You can believe whatever you like.
and you can invent stuff you want to be true and throw it on a message board and get pats on the back from folks who have no interest in objective truth.

Syria had a peak population of 21M in 2010 before the war started, and had 7% christians at that time. So is it your claim that 66% of all Christians in Syria have been killed? And this was somehow executed by a rebel group that controls 20% of the country, that was receiving its funding from a primarily Christian country?

So by your logic since I live here in the US and since my family lives here in the US and since I have family members have served and died in the military, you should believe whatever bullshit I tell you without question?

its mind numbing the number of people willing to double, triple, and quadruple down on their belief that the administration will get it right...there is absolutely zero evidence of that so far

a lot more confidence than hillary or bernie.
