I typically would agree with you, but Trump is such a different creature. His entire history shows his typical strategy is to flood the zone with so much disinformation and blatant lies that it's impossible to fact check it in real time.
He also was the first to start blaming the previous administration and DEI for the crashes. At what point is it fair to point out his actions and seemingly same strategy as last time of throwing a bunch of shit again bst a wall with no plans of how to fix or even replace what he destroyed.
I also think it's very fair to question his methods when he is gutting vital government roles with zero understanding of how he plans to fix that area other than "Doge" "Elon" or similar. I am not against bst a smaller government, but you can't just gut agencies in less than a week and not expect some issues.
So not ok for trump to comment/cast blame or whatever you want to call it on the crash, but ok to comment/cast blame on trump on the crash and call him a nazi at all other times?
i'm not a scorched earth "everthing is changing NOW" sort of guy, because i generally think that's not a good way to go about things and it usually causes quite a bit of pain to include unintended pain; but I have done it.
When trying to make sweeping changes in a hurry, everything isn't going to be perfect. As we all know, perfect is the enemy of the good enough. If you believe that sweeping changes in a hurry is what is necessary then you are willing to live with the bad while you try and fix things on the fly. If not , then your opinion of what is going on is going to be really really different.

I didn't call him a Nazi. I just want the president of America to show a little decorum and not use that situation at that time to blame DEI with zero facts. He needs to learn to just shut the **** up but that's never gonna happen.
When the crash first happened, not a bit of me thought, “this is Trump’s fault”. However, I think it is fair to criticize after finding out about all of the people who have been let go without a plan, etc. Criticism is different from blame or cause tho too.
Edit to add: sounds like somewhat of a misunderstanding by the helo pilot and I’m not sure if there was anything else ATC’s could’ve done (meaning, I’m really not sure either way, maybe a fully staffed ATC does better? No clue whatsoever)

I've been watching the US confirmation hearings and something very deep has shifted.
It's more than just the kinds of people being appointed, it's bigger than a 'vibe shift'... but I couldn't figure out what it was.
It's the revolution eating it's own.
Even Democrats are having their eyes opened as they watch their heros from the last few decades try to tear down the people who COULD have made the Democrats great again... People who SHOULD have been their next generation of Democratic heros.
RFK Jr and Tulsi Gabbard stand out as great examples, and long time Democrat power brokers like Bernie Sanders are trying every trick to destroy them, every weapon, all the things that USED to work, and it's blowing up in their faces.
The Revolutionary Old Guard are trying to eat their own children, and are being devoured by them instead.
These senate confirmation hearings are highlighting the fact that MAGA is actually a unity movement, with the best of the Republicans AND the best of the Democrats, taking the country forward together and leaving the decrepit old guard behind.

If you didn't listen to it then you don't know what I'm talking about. He said not a nickel came from executives or superPACs, it was all from small money donors. Whether that's completely true or not I don't know, I'm just going by the clip that Growls posted to make his point.
