Fact: The civil rights act of 1964 was opposed by those southern democrats, the northern ones supported it and after its passage and JFK's election, the democratic path and power was changed forever.

I am sure Trump wishes he could go back in time and pick Tim Scott.

Me personally, I am not sure I can trust a guy in his 40’s who is still a virgin. Same reason I don’t trust @Cabotiger.
Tim Scott would have been a ridiculous pick as well after debasing himself for months on the Sunday talk shows. He would not even say that he'd accept the results of the election and when pressed would only say "The American people will make the decision, and the decision will be for President Trump.” F that dude.
 
True, but the point remains. Speaking for myself, I would’ve liked to have seen Scott as VP.

We can go back in history, and yes, there was a lot of racism from the Democrats. Trump used to be a liberal.

The dem party is much more diverse and 80% of African Americans vote dem. There are very few black members of the GOP bc, quite frankly, they wont be voted in.
