With all the realignment talk I was curious about comparing tv viewership per conference for the 2022 season. I'm not sure if this was previously posted but the results were pretty stark.
The ACC only has two teams, Clemson and FSU, in the top 40 of viewership. Meanwhile nearly the entire SEC and Big 10 are in the top 40. Let's put this in perspective, if Navy joined the ACC they would be the 3rd highest viewed team in the conference. Army's rank is higher than the average ACC ranking. Granted some of these school have inflated numbers because of who they played more so than who they are but that still some hard truth to the product the ACC produces for these television companies. Thought this was interesting (and humbling) stuff.
