I went down a bit of a rabbit hole this evening and shockingly found the following: “As of January 2024, the University of Georgia's (UGA) football team had a graduation success rate (GSR) of 41% for the 2022-2023 academic year, which ranked 259th out of 260 Division I football programs.” That is a HISTORICALLY bad graduation rate.

For contrast, “As of December 2023, Clemson University's football program has a Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 99%, which is the highest in Division I and the highest ever recorded for a public Power Five football program.”

I must admit that I never knew UGA’s performance was so woeful. Jawga may well whoop Clemsons butt to open the season, but the Tigers are whipping them pretty good at life.

FWIW, here are a few other GSR’s..
South Carolina: 90%
North Carolina: 91%
NC State: 92%
Duke: 93%
Tennessee: 84%
Alabama: 93%
Auburn:94%
Georgia Tech: 92%
Ohio State: 87%
Michigan: 93%
Florida: 95%
Florida State: 75%
Miami: 94%
