UHC CEO shooter suspect

fighting extradition (a loss) and yelled out his point-of-view as he was taken into the courthouse

He will use this platform as a challenge to the industry - I know he found Unabomber "interesting" - not as violent but as acts of war and revolution

MURDER is not the answer, and something deep has happened to this otherwise brilliant young man (his supposed back injury, grandparent death, or just pure mental defect), but it will be an interesting take on society, and I wonder if there will be some type of jury nullification to make a statement against the health care machine

He's a mid 20's crypto guy. Having $10k in cash and finding out how to 3D print a gun isn't some insurmountable feat...

Go to any internet cafe and spend a few hours online and you can get the blueprints to pretty much anything 3D printable.

This absolutely killed me:

“Luigi Mangione, who was arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, once belonged to a group of Ivy League gamers who played assassins, a member of the group told NBC News.

In the game, called "Among Us," some players are secretly assigned to be killers in space who perform other tasks while trying to avoid suspicion from other players.”

Murder absolutely not funny. Assuming a boomer misunderstanding of basically a kids game, hilarious.

I never question people with beliefs, but I do question their rational expectations of those strong beliefs.

UHC will have another CEO soon (if not already)

Why not use your brain and affluence to change the world like Bobby Kennedy, Jr.?

I guess he will be a celebrity jailhouse citizen?

Vivek making a strong argument that insurance is being abused. Or maybe insurance is just the wrong word?

Maybe Americans want more than “insurance” maybe they want “full service” insurance? Or maybe they don’t.

The math that works for “insurance” does not work for “full service insurance” an thus why we continually fail in this department.

Seems very subjective again, (what’s covered?) but his thought experiment is interesting.
