It took her a month to get a verdict from her doctors that they didn’t approve of the abortion. Assuming it would take another month to get approval from two other doctors that would’ve put her at a 31 week abortion.

This is a shit law and it’s ONLY going to affect those in the lower economic ladder as they don’t have the means or knowledge of how to work around it. This was always going to be the outcome of abortion restrictions imposed in redneck states like Texas, Tennessee, Florida, etc.

First, she only needed one other doctor to agree, not two. Second, as time passes and these situations are discussed and the interpretation of the law becomes clear to more doctors/patients, this problem will go away. The reason for that is that the law does not forbid abortions when the mothers life is in danger.

How many other doctors needed to agree is moot as it took one month to get the verdict from her 2 original ones. Assuming it would take another month to get approval from the new doctor it still puts her at a 31 week abortion.
