I’m not a fan of NBA basketball - no defense and one on one offense. Add to that the arrogance/self importance of some of its marquee players and I just can’t watch it. But I really enjoyed that gold medal game today. Both teams played intense defense and USA, with all of its star power, played really good team basketball on almost every possession. Never been much of a Lebron fan, but he was totally unselfish and really led this team. And, of course, Steph was insane those last couple of minutes. That game/team was fun to watch. And to cap it off, they all seemed to really understand and appreciate the magnitude and privilege of representing their country.
