Let me ask you something. Inflation came in very hot this morning. Inflation is a direct result of governement spending. Interest rates are climbing. Equity prices are dropping.
1) should we continue the course we are on?
2) Should we massively increase spending like proposed under the biden admin with BBB?

The number one thing we should do, and it's not close, is demand that Trump not give massive tax cuts to the broligarchy and corporate interests. The money they will save by cutting programs that help the common man, pales in comparison to the amount the deficit will increase so the greedy can acquire more wealth. If you really care, that's what you'd be up in arms about, not poor people who received humanitarian aid.

Poor people in dying lands should not be the focus of the US Government when our own house is not in order. If we dont help ourselves we will not be able to help them.
Therefore, with a heavy heart, it is none of the US governments business what poor people in other countries are doing right now.
When our house is in order, our spending is sustainable, our people are taken care of, there is no more human shit on the streets. Then we can talk about poor people in other countries.
