Let me say that I could be proven wrong, but Sanders right now is not very good. He had his hands full with a 5'11" 190LB DE and looked lazy and weak. Apparently we also offered OT Leo Delaney and he is even worse...weak, stiff and doesn't move well. On one play Delaney was blown off the line of scrimmage 10 yards and the Weddington D lineman literally used him to sack the QB. I happened to film that play and would share if I could figure out how to upload it to this post. If anyone can tell me how to do it, I will post it.
Providence Day's rushing stats were 10 carries for 21 yards for the game with Sanders, Delaney and Kendre Harrison (TE) on the line of scrimmage.
What I saw was weak, lazy and fundamentally poor players. However I did see incredible size so there is perhaps something to work with. But none of the 3 play like 4 and 5 stars. The hype machine is alive and well. And Providence Day coaching was awful and may be why these players looked so bad.
