All of this winning has definitely got our (the fans) heads in the clouds...
Admittingly, I underestimated Auburn a bit...i don't know why I should have though as they are a supremely talented & that D- line is made up of former 5-star recruits...
But a few years ago, we would've been dancing in the streets after a win in The Plains...now we complain that we didn't blow them out...
No, I don't believe we played to the best of our ability but we played well enough...the offense will get better in a hurry, I have no doubt about that...the defense is stout again...
Auburn didn't just lay down last night, they came to play but in the end, Clemson triumphed & is now 1-0...not pretty but a win nonetheless...
We will get better, win a bunch of games, & be a playoff team...in that, I have no doubt...
But maybe we all just needed a reality check last night...
