This is everything wrong with the American political discussion right now. The fact is America is supremely diverse. But, instead of trying to figure out how to move forward together, we’re all taking purity tests and running for the extremes on either side. Folks vacationing at Ocean Lakes and Pirate Land are just as American and those vacationing in the Hamptons and are just as American as those who can’t afford and have never even been to the beach. Seems like “real Americans” would be able to get that.
