You very willingly called out my man @SconnyTiger25 for failing to upend his half of the wager(apparently without reaching out privately like an adult first), but he’s here now ready to make amends. First of all, I stand by my original post. And as @dpic73 pointed out, there is a situation to which a direct comparison can be drawn. And that is the bet regarding the 2020 election that @Cocks are Number 1 made with @nytigerfan and lost.
No one had to remind him that the bet was made. No one had to remind him that he lost. No one had to remind him that it was time to settle the wager. And he didn't lurk around on this site numerous times without owning up to his loss. He was a man and handled his business accordingly. Period.
Maybe other people are the kind who only pay on the second or third notice, or when debt collectors start calling. Or when repo men show up, and things get brought out into the open. But I have no interest in dealing with them, or listening to their excuses.
You see, I have 2 kids. I already hear all the time about the things they were "going to do".
"I was going to clean my room."
"I was going to do my homework."
"I was going to brush my teeth." (Seriously)
I have neither the time, nor the inclination to deal with that behavior from so-called adults.
