When is trump going to GA?

I am not twisted over it at all. I just think its low class and a bad image for you dirty dems. I can guarantee if they were at my precinct I would have walked right in and voted as is my right, but I could see some people being intimidated.
Also I didn’t read anything in the article you posted that said they supported one candidate over the other. Why might you think they support democrat candidates? 🤔

Because I am not a dummy and we know who this group supports and you know it too.

Do not feed me any BS about Herschel being a bad candidate. We had Perdue and Loeffler in 2020 and they lost also and the left found just as many ways to attack them with negative ads as they have Herschel. IMO the fact that they basically destroyed Herschel in GA who is a beloved dawg legend is more impressive than what they did in 2020.
What do these three have in common? When you figure it out, you may have your answer.

I will add that I am pessimistic about Trump's chances in GA or FL for 24 based on this current environment. I am with Trump though until he is not in it. That is the right thing to do.

Dems best hope pubs don’t find more folks mirroring Kemp/DeSantis.

If it’s this close with a candidate such as Herschel….

that kemp margin says its a red state. a whole lot of folks voted for brian kemp and NOT Herschel.

So much this. Had it not been for an historically poor candidate, this election would likely have gone the other way, a la Hillary in '16.

This state - outside of metro ATL and Savannah - feels like it very much wants to return to its red roots. But the voters have clearly rejected Trump, "Trumpism", and candidates associated with Trump across multiple cycles.

It's going to be an entirely different ball game when he's not involved, directly or indirectly.

Agree

I’ve long supported Trump, and I’m far from a hard core right wing guy, but I’m tired of the drama surrounding him. Time to move on with policy guys who do their best, to keep it policy.

Its pretty conclusive that mitch mcconnelll did his best to throw all the senate races that featured America First candidates and a lot of pressure should be put on his crotchety crooked old ass. RNC needs to clean house.

This is what I've been saying for months now. The Trump campaign will have no choice but to go all in with the conspiracy mongers, racists, deplorables, etc. And to a degree we did not see in in his previous two campaigns.

These Republicans are going to absolutely destroy one another though. Can't wait.

Truth - he'll be digging around the bottom of the deplorables bucket to find those willing to fight for him now. That's why I don't think it was surprising that he had Kanye and Nick Fuentes over to dinner.

Republicans have lost GA and thats an apparent fact. Metro ATL area controls the rest of the state at this point and thats not a good thing. I still think election fraud is occurring but unless it can be conclusively proven then no use in even talking about it.

I am very pessimistic about the future at this point. We are on a steep downslope toward socialism unless an intervention of biblical proportions occurs.

We have a president and a congress that has some of the worst performance in modern history and the dems barely lost the house and improved their advantage in the senate. Whether fraud is occurring or not it is very obvious that millions of people have bought into and embrace socialism and the other crazy stuff that the dems are doing currently and that fact is profoundly disturbing to me.

The dems and China Joe will now enthusiastically try to pass some crazy legislation in this lame duck period in December claiming a mandate from the people and probably be successful doing it. McConnell and some of his establishment cohorts in the senate are feeling their oats also now obviously celebrating the defeat of a number of the America First candidates. They will now probably work with the dems and pass a mass amnesty bill here in December furthering the treachery figuring that there is no longer a price to be paid for stabbing the American citizens in the back.

Republican Party is basically in the middle of its own civil war and thats not good either. I am not sure what the answer is to that. If Trump leaves and forms his own party then I will follow him. I would like that actually even though it might just strengthen dems even more in the short term if it happens.

I will add that I am pessimistic about Trump's chances in GA or FL for 24 based on this current environment. I am with Trump though until he is not in it. That is the right thing to do.

Quick prediction. If DeSantis becomes the repub nominee then China Joe will either get sick or just bow out and the dems will then throw Newsome at DeSantis. Biden is just there for Trump.

My last resort hope was that the dems would get their way and get full control and then proceed to implode with huge failure to the point that they would be run out of town and lose their support. The level of implosion required for that to happen though now appears to be much more than I would have ever dreamed so hoping dems will fail themselves out of office now seems like a pipe dream.

It's so damn frustrating reading stuff like this. Not because it's @TigerGrowls opinion, but because it represents a large enough portion of the GOP that it will continue to sink the party. That there is such a large part of the country who blatantly ignores logic and common sense. Who continues to live in this weird Trump-induced coma in which you cannot think clearly.

Republicans have lost GA and thats an apparent fact.

How can you say this when Brian Kemp just won in a landslide? He won by 7.5 points. The correct rephrasing of your statement is, "Trump has lost GA and that's an apparent fact." How can you not see that? Nominate a quality, non-Trump affiliated Republican candidate and you can win. Walker was a shit-tier candidate and tied to Trump. There's your L.

Do not feed me any BS about Herschel being a bad candidate. We had Perdue and Loeffler in 2020

Perdue and Loeffler were dragged down by the man at the top of the ticket - Trump. Trump drove record turnout because so many Americans showed up to vote against him. That hurt the GA senate races. And then the election fraud shitstorm and "why bother voting if they're going to cheat" mantra from some of those losers depressed the runoff vote.

And for good measure, Trump decided to publicly go against the stimulus agreement right at runoff time - suggesting it should be $2K instead of the $600 that already had bipartisan approval. So the dems hammered the commoners who wanted an extra $1400 for even more votes. Again, it all comes back to Trump.

If Trump leaves and forms his own party then I will follow him. I would like that actually even though it might just strengthen dems even more in the short term if it happens.

WTF man? You're going to split the party to follow a nearly 80 year old man who has proven to be a loser on the national stage? So you follow him and then what? He peels off half the GOP and gets 25% in the next presidential election? What have you accomplished?

I will add that I am pessimistic about Trump's chances in GA or FL for 24 based on this current environment. I am with Trump though until he is not in it. That is the right thing to do.

At least you get the national perception and electoral math, because you are correct, Trump cannot win in 2024. He will lose GA (as his candidate just lost the senate seat), he will lose PA (as his candidate just lost the senate seat), he will lose AZ (as his candidates just lost the Governor's mansion and senate seat), etc.

But your next line is just looney. It's the "right thing to do" to go with Trump even though he's unelectable? If the goal is to stop the "socialist dems," wouldn't supporting a candidate with a chance of winning make more sense?

I don't know what to say man. It's like I'm reading satire when I read takes like this, but sadly it's serious. And even more unfortunate, your opinions are widely enough held to materially affect the GOP and national elections. It's very sad.

No definitely not surprising, that was very intentional. It's his only viable strategy. Trump has already tipped his hand on what another Trump term would look like. Nazis featured prominently and a termination of the Constitution. Both necessary steps for him to become the American Caesar he sees himself as.

The American people have spoken. Congratulations to the honorable Reverend Warnock on his landslide victory. The people have flatly rejected radical right maga extremism, and embraced liberalism.

A lot of people are saying that it is all trump's fault. A lot of people are talking about it. They should maybe look into it.

The saddest part is so many folks saw this conclusion from Trump before he was President. The constant personal attacks on opponents (starting with fellow Republicans), the war on any media that disagreed with him or challenged him, not publicly distancing himself from extremist groups, hinting at election fraud if he didn't win, and so on were all present in late 2015. He used this playbook to dehumanize the "other side" and build a powerful base that is completely owned by him and his control of the message. As you stated it's not just Growls, there are millions that are completely blinded to this man.

I hope Republicans can use these lessons during the upcoming primary and not only reject Trump, but pick someone that speaks out against these tenets. I'm afraid that DeSantis is a younger Trump without all the personal baggage. He lives for the cultural war fight and loves to constantly speak out against the left. If he's like that in Florida, he's only going to be more combative on the national stage if he wins the primary. Moderate folks are tired of these candidates, not just Trump.

The Republicans in 2024 need a candidate that is strong on policy and is willing to listen to ideas from all sides of an issue and doesn't seek to "own the libs" at all costs. There is middle ground to be found on abortion, immigration, climate, election reform, guns, etc and Americans need politicians willing to find those compromises. On most of these issues, if we pass solid legislation, they will disappear as election-cycle daggers to be used by both sides to stay in power, while actually accomplishing nothing at all.

If (if) candidates such as Kemp can keep it about policy, they’ll be in good shape.

I agree 100%, but you also mention you like DeSantis. IMO he is the new Trump without the personal baggage. I'm not saying he isn't strong on policy, but his allure right now to many is his constant battles with the left. It's all he talked about in his speech in Pennsylvania for Mastriano. He loves the culture war fight and refuses to back down at all. I think most Americans are beyond tired of those fights and just want resolutions to the issues, which are typically found in the middle.

100% agree. Part of Kemp's crossover appeal was because of his refusal to be bullied by Trump. I'm not a huge fan of his but a lot of voters gave him credit for standing strong in the face of withering criticism. Same goes for Raffensberger.

With DeSantis, you have a governor in a special ed kind of red state who love his attacks on the Left. That kind of divisiveness won't work on the big stage, but unfortunately for Republicans, they won't support candidates that don't own the libs.

I don't see any hope for that side until they come to grips that bashing 55% of the population is a loser in a general.....unless the Dems just run a more hateable candidate. I think we learned our lesson with Hillary. Hopefully they've learned theirs as well.

I thought this was interesting... Desantis is being sued for firing a state attorney for being too woke. His lawyers were asked to define what "woke" means. They said:

The governor's general counsel, Ryan Newman, said, in general, it means "the belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them." He added that DeSantis doesn't believe there are systemic injustices in the country, reports Florida Politics.

But then, Desantis also said this:

And the governor did make some extended comments about the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago – which had drawn the ire of several previous speakers at the campaign rally. DeSantis criticized the search by suggesting the FBI was taking action against people who were "opposed to the regime," questioning for example why the FBI did not execute a search warrant against Hillary Clinton in 2016 "when she had a rogue server. I don't remember them doing that." He also brought up the Russia investigation but during his remarks about the search warrant he did not say Trump's name at all.

So, black and gay people claiming there are systemic injustices = woke.

Republicans claiming there are systemic injustices = MAGA?

This. Be the party of reasoned compromise on these divisive issues.

Don't count on it. The only reason they're turning on him now is they think he won't win. If Trump can somehow recapture his momentum just enough to get thru the primary, the GOP will go all in on him again. Consequences be damned.

Confession - There's a part of me that wants to see Ted Cruz licking Trump's boot heel again. Cruz is Supreme Bitch Coward of the Universe in Perpetuity.

Those quotes are DeSantis to a tee. He's comfortable drawing on the Trump talking points of FBI, Russia collusion, Hillary 2016, "woke", etc. Sadly, he is a very smart guy and I believe is electable off his policies, but he's trying to lead the "woke goes to Florida to die" train.

According to reports, he is not liked by folks that work for him due to a demanding nature and refusal to show any thanks for long, hard hours. Additionally, all reports indicate he listens to his wife for all direction and she controls everyone who has access to him. "Experts" believe he will struggle with fundraising on the national stage because he isn't good at all at schmoozing with the elites and only tolerates the affairs because it is necessary to further his career.

I still say Nikki Haley will factor into the 2024 race. She is Clinton-level smooth at working the room, super smart, and savvy enough to refrain from saying things that will piss off potential Republican voters.

I cannot argue with this at all. They would definitely follow him to another loss if somehow he won the primary.

I am not sure whats going on in GA related to Kemp winning convincingly but Walker loses. I find it hard to cope in my brain that any republican that supports republican principles would be stupid enough to not vote for Walker when he was guaranteed to go to DC and vote the way they presumably support. Thats tells me that a large number of repubs were willing to hand unfettered control of congress over to the dems and to vote for a guy thats not a good person at all and doesnt have any moral advantage over Herschel anyway? We have a lot of dumb people in the repub party I guess as this is apparently true based on the results. I cannot come up with a legitimate understanding of this no matter what. For the pollyanna crowd that comes on here and says we want a good person that deserves to represent us, then please look in the mirror and look at all these elected officials as the vast majority of them are not good people anyway. We are electing representatives to do a job that we want done.

Trumpism is a made up word. Trumps policies are the best possible solution for America though and I guess the haters can call it what they want. I am absolutely not sure a DeSantis or anyone else can duplicate what Trump was able to accomplish and it was legendary imo.

I am at the point to where I would go with Trump if he started a new party which btw I do not think he is interested in doing. It would not be a Trump Party even though he would be the one to start it. It would outlast him. It would be an America First Nationalist Party or basically the next generation of the Tea Party. I absolutely think this party would pull some centrist dems over to it. The establishment republican leadership is a total joke. They are conniving and gutless. They are worse than the dems as the dems at least tell you what they want to do to you.

I am on the Trump Train still until he says its over or does something that would possibly upset me enough to walk away from him. I do feel an allegiance to Trump as I feel like he put it all on the line to help the American people as opposed to going to help himself. I think he loves America as it was founded and not what these infiltrating communists want to turn it into and he is fighting to preserve America as it was founded.

Like I have said previously though if he gets defeated in the primaries in a legitimate fashion then my wife and I will still show up and vote for the repub nominee in 24 even if we just view it as the lesser of 2 evils. If he does get taken out by something illegitimate such as a legal action or worse then my wife and I are done with it. Let the repub party burn at that point as we will never vote for them again. We will sit at home and let the dems do what they want from that point. It honestly seems close to hopeless at this point unless something big comes up quick.

The fairy tale version of Donald Trump that you have concocted in your mind is cute. Not based on any truth or actual facts, but cute.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills after reading that.

The likelihood of trump creating a new party is low. He would had to spend his win money, which he will never do.

I am just amazed that you still think of him as some type of selfless hero. He is in it for one person… trump.

You are wrong.

"but unless it can be conclusively proven then no use in even talking about it."

maybe there is a god.
