This team and program, by and large, doesn’t have it anymore. It was apparent watching last night that Duke wanted it more and played much more violently and faster. The same thing could be said against Tennessee, South Carolina and ND last year.
Was listening to Qualk today and he mentioned that the one thing Boulware wanted to see from the defense going into game 1 was for Wes to actually, legitimately cuss someone out. He wanted to see the fire and for someone (mainly the DC) go in on these guys bc sometimes you need a good cussing out.
People might say this is one game but it ain’t. It’s a trend and I think it’s who this program is now.
