I was enrolled at Clemson and started out my first semester looking forward to football season. Of course I was looking forward to football season! We had won two ACC football championships in a row, been awarded a share of another because South Carolina cheated bigtime in '65 and had to forfeit all their ACC wins.
Plus we had ALL ACC POTY Buddy Gore coming back. What could go wrong?
