Why do people hate Trump

I’ve never heard a truthful reason why people hate Trump.
Yes, I’ve heard all the leftists media’s talking points:
Trump is rassist
Trump is facist
Trump hates women
Trump will raise taxes
We all know, none of the above are true.
Are people simply stupid enough to believe the lies?
I'll take a stab at it.

The media.

The media created this mess and when your friend group thinks the same as you, listens to the media just like you and nobody goes to the source of information to look for themselves, they become shocked that you don't think like them.

I have a really good friend of mine, lifelong friend, who told me in 2015 if Trump became president, he would take over the world, be a Nazi who created genocide, Miami would be under water by 2020 due to global warming and that he would never leave the office and we would be in WW3.

Never mind none of that happened. The real question is why did he believe that? I mean, I'm dead serious when I say, this guy would almost fight you over it. He legit believed it. That was the beginning of me waking up.

How could this guy be so wrong yet so passionate? Then 2020 happened and the media went overboard and here we are. At some point the media has to quit lying.

I think the media the last 10 years caused the results of last night. Americans are tired of lies. Tired of being called a Nazi/Racist because you don't think men can get pregnant.

He's a Nazi Dictator- False
He's going to start WW3- False
He's going to create genocide- False
He's tied with Russia- False
Nothing on Bidens laptop showing the money they take from China- False
Biden is a sharp as ever (1 week before he steps down)- False
Woman are lying to their husbands, and everyone is voting Kamala- False
Russia Hoax- False
He will never leave office and stay forever- False

I got all of this from my TV. This is what they told me and it's all false. This was revenge on the US media and the American people have spoken. The National Media needs to completely change the way to cover news or it will continue to get worse from here for them. Nobody believes them anymore. Americans are tired of the lies.

Here's why I hate Trump...

And as I've said before, I hated him back when he was running around with Bill and Hillary and endorsing Obama. You know, back when you Trumpians wouldn't have pissed on him if he were on fire...

Also as I've said before, I don't think Trump is a racist or a facist or works for the Russians. My problem is that Trump works for Trump. Always has, always will. And he will do and say ANYTHING to further his own interests. Good and Bad, Truth and Lies. None of this even enters his thinking. It's all about Trump and his own interests.

As long as Trump's interests and American interests align we'll be fine. If those interests diverge, we'll all find out the hard way that Trump will absolutely throw anyone and anything under the bus for his own gain. That's it. Simple and easy.

Agree. It’s the media to blame.
But to my point, if you take away their lies, no one has a reason to hate Trump.
I’ve already seen on my Facebook thread this morning, a woman calling everyone racist. Sad.

I can agree with you that Trump loves some Trump. (Kind of like Dabo loves Dabo).
But that’s not a policy reason.

Sounds like a typical politician to me.
A couple of things here:

Any typical politician would never have been able to say HALF the crap Trump does.

And Trumpians don't think that he's a typical politician. He's here to "drain the swamp" right? And yet he's the biggest swamp creature there has ever been.

Serious question. What person in Washington, red or blue, is not working for themselves? I do think some enter for the right reasons, but that place changes people. Does Chuck Schumer or Mitch McConnell gives one's rats ass about people. No, they care about VOTES and POWER. So you have to hate everyone upthere using that logic.
I will say this;I don't know too many people that would or could put upwith everything the dems and the media have thrown at Trump. Even haters have to admit: He's one tough son a bitch !

I actually LIKE some of his policies. Especially his foreign policy in the mid east. But again, I'm different than most folks in that I think that putting a fundamentally bad man in as President is a really bad thing for the country. If you like a policy, find a decent person with that policy and elect them.

He's an enigma. You should watch his Rogan interview.

I'll never get over how badly the MSM has divided this country in the name of gaining power for their democratic overlords. They went from gawking and ogling Trump over his successes, to calling him a racist and a threat to democracy.

The MSM turns every GOP candidate into Hitler, but they went above and beyond with Trump. Why?

What makes you think that Trumps interests and the countries interests are not aligned?

America does well Trump does well. Why is he singled out?

Personally, I think the media got a reality check last night. They lost a lot of credibility and the alt-media, if you will, gained a lot of credence. Trump did all the podcasts and will undoubtedly reward that over the next 4 years. The fact Trump won in a landslide and also won the popular vote is a clear repudiation of the leftist media imo.

Well, when you edit speeches and complete flat out lie, you create trust issues.

For me personally, I remember a speech in 2015 from Trump. I hadn't made my mind up and really was lost in my beliefs for lack of a better term. But I saw Fox and CNN (both) go after trump about something he said. I decided at that moment, I wanted to listen for myself.

I watched the entire speech and the only conclusion I could come up with is "they're assuming people aren't watching the whole thing".

Had I not done that, I like everyone else, would have just believed my TV. The media completely woke me up. In fact, I remember telling my wife who repeated it, "that's not what he said at all". Then she watched and said the same. At that point it felt really weird, but it was undeniable they were lying on purpose.

We have so much information at our fingertips, it's inexcusable to not watch things for yourself in its entirety, unedited.

Don't trust anyone. Just go to the source and watch it. It's called effort and not everyone takes the effort to learn.

I don't want or care to be proven right. I just want Truth.

Glad you are starting to come around. Look forward to the discussion the next 4 years! Hopefully your fellow comrades come out of hiding.

It's pretty simple. Removing all policy talk and politics: As a person, I think he's a really terrible one. He's crass, rude, arrogant and appears to be overtly narcissistic. I didn't like him in the 90s. He was always in the tabloids for cheating on his wife. I never liked his apprentice show. He just comes off as a bully strongman.

This is me. He's a terrible person and was way way before he decided to fleece rubes in politics. I don't like that he is walking around faking Christianity. I don't like that he treats people like crap and acts like a 5 year old with the stupid name-calling.

It's only the MAGAs who seem to think DJT didn't exist prior to 2016.

I would like to respectfully respond.

Trump is no different than any other politician (some do this more than others) but the majority tell the electorate what they think they need to, in order to get elected. No quams about shading the truth to flat out lying. Most politicians care most about furthering their own career and they will do what is politically expedient, not what is necessarily best. So if your standard for electing someone is that they only care for what is best even when it means it will harm them, you need to get out of politics.

Politics is a dirty business, both sides of the aisle, always has been, it used to be more hidden than it is today. The divisiveness in politics came out from behind the curtain with the Clintons. Civility has been gone for many cycles now, did DJT do anything to help this? No he didn't, if anything, he made it worse.

There are certainly things about DJT that I don't like, he is petty, think skinned and he struggles to rise above the fray. He is willing to sling with the best of them. I hope he takes a different tone moving forward.

However, No sitting president or candidate for president as endured more hate, lies and vitriol thrown at him than Donald Trump. That is a fact. The Russian scam, the law fare, it is all disgusting and has eroded trust in our country. Democrats have spent the last 4 years trying to tell everyone that Trump is basically Satan in disguise. Maybe you believe that, but clearly the majority of those that voted don't.

or just vote for the policy. You say he is a bad man, but you can't show how he is any different than most other politicians.

I know a congressman fairly well. I am not going to mention who is, I am sure you can guess what party he is in. He is not a lifelong politician, he is a business man, he has had multiple terms, he has told me that the corruption in DC is on both sides. There are idealists on both sides of the aisle that come to DC with great intentions and they quickly find out it is near impossible to get things done without joining the morass. The machine is so large and powerful it feels like a lost cause to try and get anything done.

This isn't D vs R, this is both sides participating in the same activities to further their careers.

I personally have massive issues with how he has treated women, and as a Christian I am extremely offended by his blatant fake Christianity. This is a guy who literally said that he has never asked Jesus for forgiveness since he didn't need to.

I want to elect people that we can look up to and at least admire. Not much to admire in DJT, he's a serial cheater, liar, and a pretty shitty businessman who failed up.

Why do you love war so much? What the hell happened to the left?

Why do you think I love war? You guys are wild. I like adults who realize that there is nuance to decisions and policies.

I also felt she did a very good job with some tough situations while she was governor.

Once again, y'all love to bash someone who Trump hired. I can't wait to watch this cabinet take place this time. He will claim they are all the greatest ever, until they are awful and stupid and the worst ever. None of which he will take any responsibility for and the MAGA world will eat up hook line and sinker.

When your choices are a bad man with good policies vs a bad woman with bad policies. Go with the lesser of 2 evils.
On your second point, I think we found the future.
Repeat after me: “Vance 2028”
And welcome to the big tent!

First - I wouldn't say Trump is Christian, I am sure Trump will tell you he is; if you point blank asked him, but he does not talk about it, he doesn't use religious analogies, and he doesn't directly reference evangelicals to any great degree.

As a matter of fact, in 2016 during the RNC he even conceded that Evangelicals have supported him, probably more than they should have.

I also know a lot of people who would tell you they are Christian and their life would give you no indication that is in fact true. Bottom line, he isn't any different than a lot of people who grew up claiming to be a Christian.

So I assuming you think Kamala is a deep rooted Christian, who doesn't lie, hasn't cheated and is a paragon of virtue?

It's because we value policy over personality. I don't care whose feelings he hurts as long as everyones household can be more financially stable. He can be a "fake Christian" as long as he upholds, or at least fights to uphold, laws the protect Christian values. We can agree that he's not a good person, but how many presidents have we had that don't fit that mold? I'm for what helps my family, and very little that the dems do, do that.

You're reaching my friend. I can post the comments if you'd like. He says this back in 2015. Honestly, I think DJT has changed in his thinking and hopefully his relationship with the Lord. That's still possible, right? Do you know different, or do you just want to believe different?
Could you admire Kamala?

$5.6B says you're wrong, and why even bring it up? It shows you just have distain and no objectivity!

She isn’t using Christianity to garner more votes and make money to pay legal fees. Trump was literally selling bibles with the constitution printed in it. That itself is just blasphemous. If you aren’t a Christian fine but don’t pretend like you are and use that platform to take advantage of people

Anyone can call themselves a Christian.
Heck, I could support killing unborn babies, letting people mutilate children because they think they’re the wrong gender, and let illegal rapists and murderers roam the country with no penalty, and still call myself a Christian.

It's an interesting question w/ a lot of different layers to it. You could probably write a research paper on the topic.

The simple, obvious answer is he's a troll. He is the ultimate if he's on your team you love him. If he's on the other team you hate him guy. He's brash. maybe even a little crude. Cocky. Nobody likes that.

Now add to that that he is the perfect villain for the left- old, white, rich, alpha male.

So, when you are targeting that package, pretty much anything you want to put on him is not going to be a hard sell because it is so easy to sell something to someone that is desperate to buy it. Then add in the different forms of media that are constantly injecting propaganda for their own agendas and... there you go. A monster is created.

These two posts are my thoughts spot on. Since when did we, the American public, allow the MSM to dictate the "news" to us. I just want the facts and no "opinion" pieces. It's amazing when one sits back with an unbiased opinion and just listens and watches what the MSM says/does. The left and the right should NOT be enemies to one another but man do they play each one against the other. They want to "unify", then I would suggest they start by looking in the mirror.

Yesterday spoke volumes to leadership at those companies. Unfortunately I don't believe they will listen, hopefully I'm proven wrong.

I recently went down a rabbit hole in the bible and I was amazed at the people who God worked through. We have this impression that good can't be bad and bad can't be good. But I really wanted to understand the bad.

I'm sure most people know, but I didn't know this.

David- was a murderer and adulterer but God called him a "man of my own heart"
Moses- A murderer with a speech impediment
Rahab- A prostitute
Paul- Was literally Sal and was hunting and killing Christians, beheading them. Changed his name to Paul and the rest is history.
Noah- A drunkard
Abraham- a liar
Elijah- suicidal
Jonah- ran from God
Peter- denied him 3 times

All of this changed my perception of a lot of things and more importantly, I'd venture to say people back then would probably be shocked that these bad people would eventually become Biblical legends. All of them "bad" but none of them stayed bad.

I never knew that and didn't learn that until my late 30's. I only share that for someone else who may not know.

Paul- Was literally Sal and was hunting and killing Christians, beheading them. Changed his name to Paul and the rest is history.
Noah- A drunkard
Abraham- a liar
Elijah- suicidal
Jonah- ran from God
Peter- denied him 3 times

All of this change my perception of a lot of things and more importantly, I'd venture to say people back then would probably be shocked that these bad people would eventually become Biblical legends. All of them "bad" but none of them stayed bad.
Well god did approve of slavery so.....
