If you don't agree with them on something, it's not because you've got some good reason not to immediately agree with them. It's because you're a bad person, and they won't bother trying to appeal to you. No wonder people get turned off
IMO they've got a personality problem more than a policy problem. Trump can be very erratic, but his personality is his personality. People respected his bluntness more than Kamala drowning us all in word soup.

My list of reasons for disliking Trump is a mile long. Not much point in typing them out after reading the above posts, which are so depressingly dismissive of his lack of character. Call me old school but I still believe in electing leaders who I find inspiring and who I would want my children to model themselves after. Would you want your children to speak and behave and treat others like how Trump speaks, behaves, and treats his opponents? And to use the charade of "everyone in Washington is devoid of character" is an enormous cop-out. Shame on anyone who says or thinks such a thing. It's simply not true. Too many career politicians do fit those characteristics, don't get me wrong, but don't paint with broad strokes and do better when you vote. We're the ones enabling and re-electing the bad apples.
All I know for sure is the following:
- The last 2 Republican presidencies have ended in abject disaster with the 2008 Housing crisis Into recession and the 2020 Covid response into recession into Capitol insurrection(or whatever you want to call it).
- Democrats had to clean up both those messes and, while far from perfect, did a pretty admirable job in both cases.
- I only want the best for the US and I sincerely hope his 2nd term ends a whole lot better than his 1st term did.

Trump can say those words, and he can actually believe them - who the hell knows what he actually believes, he contradicts himself and changes his mind too much for anyone to every really know. But, irregardless, the reality is he has enabled the current environment where women in some States now have less freedoms to manage their own personal health than they used to. That is the result of moving these decisions to a State level. That is the reality millions of women, including my 2 daughters in SC, now have to live with.

The Covid Response was fine, and had DJT not been in office Biden would have just shut the entire country down by fiat. The housing crisis, was long in the making and there were numerous democrat policies that helped lead to that debacle, to say otherwise is only to say you don't understand how things work.
