It's one of the strangest things about all of this and yet pubs think it's perfectly normal and never talk about it.
Any HONEST person wouldn’t say it’s perfectly normal. They are voting for the less worse option in their mind.
Like I tell my very left MIL:
“I have 2 choices, your daughter or another woman, one is gonna cheat on me 8 times and the other 10, who do I pick?”
“My daughter would never do that.”
“How do you know what she does? How do you know that I might desire a woman who is a serial cheater on me?”
“Why would you say such a thing?”
“Why would you believe messaging from either of these groups who CONTINUALLY fall short of the virtue they claim to espouse?”
“We have to pick someone.”
“Congratulations. And that’s why we suck as a country. You’ve been brainwashed to believe that Coke or Pepsi products are your only choice. And until people grow a pair and vote for parties that aren’t MEGA BILLIONAIRE OPERATIONS, all you’ll get is pathetic Dems and Pubs bitching about how great their spouse is who only cheats on them 8 times vs the 10. And now you now why I don’t respect anyone affiliated with a party. Cause who would choose a spouse who is a serial cheater? Only losers justify a less cheating option. I’ll pass and wait til these 2 pathetic orgs destroy themselves. But you keep on believing one is so much greater than the other. Cause if they were, it would be GLARINGLY obvious and they would stay in power because of how great they are. It stuns me how people keep going back to the same well expecting different results. They just wait til the other fails and take the easy win….. again and again and again.”
We got one candidate talking how 90 CEOs, raising over 2 billion dollars and squandering it and wouldn’t change a policy even when their own party MAJORITY is against some of the things party leadership stands for.
We got another candidate constantly berating pretty much everything.
Yet people will defend one or the other. It’s retarded.
