I can possibly see Louisville continuing to do a good job in fishing the portal, but they could make mistakes like Norvell. UofSC is going to have their roster bought out (their defensive ends for sure). I see programs changing drastically from season to season depending on their luck in the portal lottery. The teams that spend the most will have the best chance.
Unlike many of the members on this board, I don't want to have a team of mercenaries. The way it stands with conference affiliation, Clemson cannot compete money wise - maintaining a roster or paying freshmen a competitive wage. So be it, let UGA and Ohio State sell their souls.
