There was a good article in the WSJ about why our elections are so expensive and take so long compared to all other countries. . .it's about having terrible campaign finance laws. we can blame both parties for that as the overwhelming majority of the public are in favor o campaign finance reform.
Until only vote in person with valid ID and no mail in vote (except Military) or any other means of voting will this Country ever be the same. If you can't make it to polling location tough cause everything isn't fair in life but voting should be.

Fact is Dominion Machines already having problems, Nevada has 77k ballots they know of currently with barcodes that could not be ran, 2500 voter registrations under investigation in one county and majority have been confirmed fraudulent with two other counties under investigation, ballot machines attempted to be blown up...all have happened

It's called a provisional ballet. Basically when your name doesn't come up, you fill out a ballet that is checked against all polling locations in the county. It could also be a simple spelling error. This literally happened to my son in 2020 because of a clerical error. I don't think it will officially be decided on election night but I think we will have a very good idea of who will win. Some states count at glacially slow paces due to the actions or inactions of the state level republicans, primarily them forcing hand recounts or forcing mail in-ballots to be counted after election day ballots, or blocking counting mail in ballots early. This was almost the case in Georgia until the Georgia Supreme Court stepped in and said mail in ballots can be counted before election day. I'd have to brush up on which states count super slow but I do know, because of the 2000 recount, that Florida can count votes very fast and should be wrapped up early on election night.
As far as bellweathers, I'd look at Erie, Lehigh, Allegheny counties in PA and the Philly burbs, maybe Hamilton County in Indiana, Dane County Wisconsin, the Detroit suburbs like Oakland, and then the Atlanta burbs, but especially Fayette county, which voted for Trump but had a D+13 swing from 2016 to 2020.

I love that MAGA people think that this example of election protections working as intended to catch fraudulent activity somehow means that there are definitely more cases that haven't been identified DESPITE ZERO EVIDENCE OF SUCH. Jeez, man.

In Colorado, we had our ballot mailed to us. And frankly, it's awesome.
There's judges, propositions, and amendments that I had time to do some research on while voting. I was able to take a couple hours and go through things and look stuff up. Whereas were I at a voting booth, I wouldn't be able to do any of that.
I'm a MUCH better/informed voter because of being able to mail in or drop of a ballot. It's how it should be everywhere.

Regardless of this personal back and forth you guys have going, PLEASE explain to me how she is "more qualified" for being President with examples and facts(or any accomplishments, like winning a primary). She won elections for SF DA, two elections for CA AG, and an election for CA Senate, which included their open primary system. She was also on the winning ticket for a presidential campaign. So that’s 4 elections as the primary candidate and 3 primaries. Outside of politics, she passed the bar in California, which is a hard state to pass the bar in.
Meanwhile Trump is actively deteriorating mentally, thinks political asylum=insane asylum (hence the Hannibal Lecter stuff), and thought transparency in border wall construction meant the wall was going to be see through. Outside of politics Trump has a wide array of bankruptcies, failed businesses, and fraud lawsuits (see Trump university)
