There were as many covid deaths in 2021 as there were in 2020, and that was with the majority of the country vaccinated.

It was mainly ignored and hasn't really been brought up since the MSM had there couple days of falling over each other repeating it, because much of the US population now knows, that 90% of what this administration says and does is pure BS!

Hospitalizations have definitely gone up, but the death rate vs hospitalizations is much wider.
My point was that the POTUS does not need a scare campaign and especially at that point, where many who are going to get vaxed have already done so and the ones who are not, will not.

I've done my part to keep you safe - can you say the same? I live a full life and recently got back from four days in New Orleans. I'm as over it as you are but it's your voters dying, not mine. Sounds like you're not concerned though - neither am I

Everyone needs to get over it at this point. Vaccination rates and prior infection rates are plentiful and the virus has weakened. Drop mask mandates, drop all the scare tactics and resume normal life. It’s been 2 years.

Side note - I’m in salt lake right now traveling home. I had an Uber driver flag me in the app yesterday for pulling my mask down to drink water in the back seat. Literally got a notice from Uber and had to submit a photo of myself in a mask before my next ride. People like this are legit crazy and poisoned by the messaging out there.

I agree it is time to move on from masks, barring any future strains. Biden has successfully vanquished the virus, it is time for Americans to thank him and get back to normalcy.

One of our best friend couples lives in NOLA and told us that. The vax card thing is interesting for Louisiana. Glad Charleston the GOAT doesn’t have anything like that. You really don’t see many masks or anything.

I was also just chased by the attendant in the delta lounge offering me a disposable mask because I walked away from my table, AirPods in on a work call, maskless because I was drinking a beer. 10 minutes ago.

Freaking wild man. I’m sooo over COVID and all this nonsense.

PS- I told my next Uber driver that story because she was maskless and was totally cool with me not wearing one. We had a good laugh about the weirdo mask lady. And she got a 25% tip instead of the 0% for the loser that reported me.
