I know one thing, we have a whole lot of nobodies trying to get famous, at the expense of Dabo/Clemson FB.
Never heard of her, seriously never heard this name before.
He says he tweeted this because he heard Dabo talked shit about him after he left lol.
Well I doubt he did this, but if he did then he is right. With everyone else the 'N' word is bad and racist, yet when black people are calling each other this back and forth it is also racist and disrespectful. Just because they use it to each other does not all of a sudden make the word OK and non-racist. They should have learned a lesson. If I was Dabo and heard them using this, especially in front of the team, they would be running the stadium steps until their tongues were hanging out and they were incapable of saying it!!!
Would it be OK if Dabo was singing karaoke?

I do find it interesting that not one somewhat notable player has mentioned anything about any of this stuff.

Also, this dude admits to having a bone to pick with Dabo, in his follow-up tweets.

Are y’all willing to admit Dabo needs to, oh I don’t know, speak up? Even pragmatically, he’s getting drug around cuz he’s not saying anything at all. I don’t see his players defending him either. Like we got two/three former players on staff but no current players going to bat for him. Why?

Whether or not this tweet is legit, Dabo’s silence over the last 5 days is mind bottling and really disappointing. I hope whenever he does say something he explains why he has waited so long to speak. And it needs to be more than “i needed to get my thoughts together and pray about it.” The lack of leadership here is really surprising and not something I would have ever expected out of Dabo.

Yeah, but just having an axe to grind doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I don’t think its fair to consider the motive of the person who calls it out when judging whether or not the action was good or bad, know what I mean?
If it happened in 2012 then obviously none of those players are still on the team so it should be pretty easy to get a few of them to confirm his account of things or call it out for being bullshit.
I hope @Larry_Williams is putting on his investigative journalism hat and trying to get a more complete picture of this stuff for us.
I’m certainly in the minority on this board, but to me the tension is palpable. I don’t have any inside info at all, but it’s hard to imagine the team is all good with these stories coming out. At least TL is a good leader and knows how to communicate. Maybe we just let him run things this year.

It's an offensive word ... why would he want people to hear that in our facilities? I'm sure he would object to a lot of other words too. If you like that song listen to it on your own time, somewhere else. Not in an environment where people can be offended.

I mean he is responsible for his assistant coach who said the n word. That’s where this whole shit storm is stemming from.
Forget our differences on how we perceive current events for a moment. At this point it’s become plain that Dabo has royally botched public relations the last week and a half. I mean there’s no way this doesn’t hurt recruiting.
. In theory I agree 100%. But in reality, coaches like Dabo,Saban,Meyer and other coaches that high profile kinda do turn into politicians after a while.
No there’s nothing wrong with banning music that has a certain language in it, but it is extremely inappropriate for him to use that word. Particularly when the people who are most immediately affected by its use are people he has specific and direct authority over.
It’ll definitely get used against him on the recruiting trail. No doubt. But, I personally don’t think we’re gonna bottom out because of it.
I hope you’re right. But if Dabo doesn’t have a change of heart I actually think we will eventually. Tristan Leigh was at a BLM protest this weekend. I’ll be shocked if he ends up here.
I understand what your point is , but ... if I hear a word in a song and I say that word to express the thought of not wanting to hear it ... that isn't hateful. That isn't malicious. How is he supposed to communicate that.
I read a FB post by Brandon Ford in a Clemson Football group that said

You don’t have to actually do a wrong thing to express that a wrong thing is wrong. Imagine if that was the case, just imagine a world where it was ok to do the thing that you were trying to communicate shouldn’t be done. “I beat my wife, but its ok because I only did it after seeing someone else beating their wife and I wanted to tell him that he shouldn’t do that.” I mean the thought of not wanting to see someone beating their wife...that isn’t hateful or malicious!
