WTF is going on?

i do think that this incident will move the rest of the moderate democrats into the silent trumpers group

i also see alot of city and county councils will start electing more constitutionalist

Lol. Who gives a shit? This is nothing and I’m glad Dabo is staying out of it. He came out and made a statement and the non-Christians blasted him because “faith and prayer ain’t enough”.

I hope he doesn’t say another word until he announces the schedule. He can’t win when you vultures have already decided that he’s wrong. Dabo doesn’t owe @dbjork6317 or @RagsToRiches2 a fvcking thing. Lol at recruiting taking a hit over this. Not gonna happen.

/Thread

  • It is mind "boggling" not "bottling".
  • Maybe he is taking the time to go through all of the pundits opinions and directives about where he has gone wrong and how he is ruining recruiting and what the expectations are and how "disappointing" he is and that is boggling his mind.
  • Are we to all believe that these two players represent the opinion and experience of all of the players that have been at Clemson in the 10+ years of Coach Swinney's leadership?
  • If verifiable evidence of his apathy, insensitivity or disrespect exists and is revealed, then I am sure there will be plenty of disappointment to go around. But even these two players have made a point of commenting on their own regard for Coach Swinney.
  • In my humble opinion, all of this negativity and suspicion is self destructive and is fanning the flames of the CU haters. They are loving this. Wouldn't we all be better served to circle the wagons as a show of confidence and "family" loyalty while this plays out? Has Coach Swinney not earned that benefit of the doubt?

I don’t know where you went to school, but mind “bottling” is obviously the only correct way to use that phrase. Everyone knows that....

Forget our differences on how we perceive current events for a moment. At this point it’s become plain that Dabo has royally botched public relations the last week and a half. I mean there’s no way this doesn’t hurt recruiting.

I don’t post hardly at all and I really wish you would post less than me. He’s trying to stop someone from saying it. Who gives a shit what anybody thinks. Does he care what you and all these fake ass people think about him by not addressing this topic again after he did years ago when it happened?I hope to hell he don’t care what Stephen A or all the Karen’s in the world think.

I dont think Dabo said it based on my belief that we know who Dabo is and the fact that no one I recall ever having played for him has mentioned.

i honestly have never heard of this guy. That is not to say he would straight up lie about something like this.

i do believe Dabo would have shut down and told the team music with the n word or other language would not be allowed in his locker room. But he easily could tell them to turn it off without using the words.

i could see this guy being told by another player that we cant play music with the N word in it. Cause Dabo said so.

this is just stupid. I hope a bunch of coaches hit the recruiting trail and try using this. Cause when those recruits and families meet Dabo and talk to the players they will find out the other coach is falsely attacking.

If I were Dabo I would be quiet like he is doing. This whole digging up coach comments from years past will blow over. And nothing will really come from it unless truly warranted.

I think you’ve misunderstood the term Karen.

Dabo should not address some tweet from some guys years ago that no one has ever heard of. Why even acknowledge this recount.

WoW & Just WoW!
1. Who gave you the power to Speak For, Place All & Judge All Black People The Same!?
2. Yes Some Black Classify the slang term as endearing! Believing you are White, try educating yourself to this view instead of keeping your agenda!
3. What lesson should “They Have Learned”?

Those of us, “Black Folks” who grew up with the terror associated with this Word; Do Not Like Hearing It In Any Form, Try to educate the younger generation, but Do Not Need Someone From A Majority Race Preaching To “Us” About Use According To Them!

Also, as a Dabo! The Man I know! uses his position to educate! even with using such slang; This 62 year old, Jim Crow Raised Black American, Stand With Dabo! Just Keeping It 100%!

I went to middle school and high school in the early to mid 1970's. I played various sports at the team level and play round level. While I may not be black, several of my friends were. I used to hear black people call others that ALL the time. So saying that this word (especially in today's climate) is disrespectful for black people I do not "Judge All Black People The Same". Wrong is simply wrong here.

You say, "but Do Not Need Someone From A Majority Race Preaching To “Us” About Use According To Them", yet we are judged harshly for having said the word 40 or 50 years ago? In speaking Native American movie lingo (and I am not being racist here, it's sad I even have to say that!!!), you speak with forked tongue. Dabo would be right if he got on his players for saying that word in Clemson's locker room. That is the teams locker room, not just the white player's locker room, and not just the black player's locker room, but the TEAM's locker room. You are a team, and should respect one another as a team, and Clemson's environment, as a family. If the black players desire to call each other the 'N' world outside of this that is on them, even while they and all (as they should) expect whites and other from using it.

I could remember back in the times I mentioned above where I could sit down and discuss racial issues with my black friends. But now we have become so far apart that even discussing race is racist, and causes knee-jerk responses as you displayed. So who is really being "judged" here?

I was speaking about current players. Not ones currently paid by the university

Is there any question on why this previously unknown douche is frantically posting about CDS on TI? Time to clean up the chicken shit.

@dbjork6317 , your constant attempts to tear down CDS accentuates your pos personality. Everyone, including you, with get their comeuppance eventually.

You're right. A minority football player that loves dabo so much for the opportunities in life and for loving him so much and helping mold him into the man he is today definitely doesnt fit your narrative. Not to mention how weak minded Chavis is for even working for Dabo given the proof from a tweet from some unknown walkon from years ago where allegedly Dabo told him to stop playing music with racial terms in his locker room.

Are y’all willing to admit Dabo needs to, oh I don’t know, speak up? Even pragmatically, he’s getting drug around cuz he’s not saying anything at all. I don’t see his players defending him either. Like we got two/three former players on staff but no current players going to bat for him. Why?

wtf do u want Him to say? He’s a football coach not a politician. newsflash* He’s not paid to give speeches on his opinion to the public. He’s paid to coach football.

Shit stirring trolls.

This board is a zoo and depressing af. It’s not even fun anymore.

I mean he is responsible for his assistant coach who said the n word. That’s where this whole shit storm is stemming from.

he didn’t use the n word. He was mocking a player attempting to embarrass and STOP him from using it.

another shit stirring troll.

noticing a lot of handles I’ve never seen before. Hmm.

Pearman literally said he used the n word I’m not sure what we are debating here.

I read a FB post by Brandon Ford in a Clemson Football group that said

“This is false, I remember this day and I don’t recall him saying this at all. I was right there in the locker room and team meeting room ”

take it for what it’s worth
Said post has been deleted it seems as I can no longer see it, but I took a screenshot for reference.

insufferable.

I’m sure I’ll regret asking but curious on your stance with players openly using the term.

I personally don’t think anyone should use it. I also know that a white guy in a position of power should never utter it.

Man you are a piece of work! Go back to my post and see that I said players have spoken up, former players. I NEVER said current players you did...and they don’t need to be speaking up right now. They are handling all of this in the team!!!!! Get a clue!

lol but a black guy in a position of power?

I think people need to actually look up the definition of racism.

I was wrong and misunderstood you. I apologize. For real I mischaracterized what you said and did so multiple times and I’m sorry for that.

And it was handled in-house 3 years ago...

No need for Dabo to revisit it just to give some limelight-starved walk-on his 15 minutes of fame...

Time to dismantle the SPLC. They have the N-word published all over their website.

I think it’s more just to flip the public program perception than to have to go back and re-discipline pearman. You can create a lot of positive buzz just by coming out and saying hey we are taking these actions now. FSU was getting the same treatment we were and now the conversation is largely positive, since they came out said it happened and this is how we are making it better.

1. I reiterate I applause Dabo & His actions, in this wonderful environment he has created, if true!
2. I disagree fully with you or any other White Person “With Black Friends”, trying to tell Black how to behave and or how they chose to empower themselves with that word!
3. Again, It Hurts Me To Hear Blacks Use The Word! It Pierce My Heart In A Major Way To Hear A White Person Use It!

By taking your written words, asking you with your “They & Them” descriptions for All Black Folks, If this is your way of engaging in a discussion about race; Brother you may be best served, reviewing what you wrote, reread my response & try a different approach! Here is a recommended start:
For my Black CU Tigers on this forum, what is your opinion of the use of the N word, riots, etc... That can be the start of race related dialogue, definitely not what your proposing!

Also, who said you’re Racist?
