Anyone else watching this? This is one of the most embarassing news conferences I've ever seen in my life. My god, the hatred directed at Zelensky was disgusting while at the same time openly siding with Putin with Z sitting two feet away. I can't believe what I just saw.

It was so refreshing to see that. I think it was important for the American people to see what we are doing with. Love the transparceny. JD stepping up on the stage and fighting for America.
This is what happens with weak leadership. Joe Biden was the biggest mistake this country has made in decades.
His MO is that he is right and everyone else is wrong and responsible for anything he can deflect blame upon

Who can blame Z for pleading his case when he has everything to lose? The backlash from Vance and Trump was shameful, not to mention the lying about 350 billion dollars. We are so f'ed up right now.
I may not have seen all of it but what I saw was Vance admonishing him for litigating his case for the media and they both accused him of being ungrateful.

What i take out of it is that Zelensky is not being realistic. Like Trump says, they are a big underdog and have no leg to stand on. They need to make a deal or their youth will speak Russian.

I think it's good for people to see. I appreciated hearing directly from Zelensky. But i do think he is wanting more than he deserves (as he should to represent his country). But in a deal, everyone has to give. And he needs to be realistic to get a deal.
Either that or people keep dying.

Like him or not, Zelensky has kept his people independent against supreme odds. Nobody would have thought that this war would last anywhere near this long.
I'm just still saddened that we are siding with Russia and North Korea. I never had that on my MAGA bingo card.

Every American administration in history would have treated him respectfully, except this one. This is a dark stain in our history, holy hell.

Parts of Ohio are appalachia/there are a lot of appalachians who moved there but he is abolutely exaggerating his background. He went to Yale and got into Venture Capital, he isn't some blue collar dude
I really want the Trumpers to realize what Trump is doing to our international reputation. He's shredding the post WW2 international order and making the world a far more dangerous place. The US's reputation will be in the gutter and it will only make Russia and China stronger

How was our international reputation bad? Europe looked to the US to led them during the Ukraine crisis. We galvanized European support behind Ukraine.

In no way, shape, or form is the US siding with Russia over the rest of the civilized world going to be good for the markets.
They’re in a war they can’t win. Against an enemy they can’t defeat. All with our tax dollars and weapons. Because someone decided they should be in NATO. We don’t need allies like that.
