What do you guys add to Sauerkraut???

I ate Sauerkraut some growing up and had my wife bring a couple cans home from the grocery store. What do you guys add to sauerkraut when cooking it in a pan? ie. hot dogs, kielbasa, smoked sausage, etc?

Looking for non spicy ideas since my son will also be eating it.
