The debt has become a problem for all of us. We have to address it. That's not a partisan issue as it impacts us all. Can we all agree we need to do everything we can to start getting that under control? It isn't one party that's done this. It's all of us and we need to come together to fix it.
The only way anything gets done on the debt is if we somehow tie it to coporate subsidies. Since corporations are now defacto immortal citizens in this country who are allowed to lobby our congress for funds.
They are the ones writing the bills, so unless its important to corporations, it will never be important to congress. They will slash our taxes and misappropriate our budgets to line their pockets. All the while the debt will get bigger. It got bigger under first term MAGA.
