I hope that young man finds his way back on the field soon. He’s by far the most improved player on defense, and is always around the ball, delivering big hits and breaking up passes. I think he was playing himself (despite combine performance) into a respectable draft position.

Kudos to him. Respek.

We had 3 OL didn’t make the trip, first play we lose the backup so we had to switch everyone around, starting LB, Starting DL and then lose freshman all American there would be no way we could win. Everyone thinking this staff can’t coach is nuts. I take this win with a grin and celebrate. No reason for negativity after this win. Hats off to this staff and team.

we lose every tiebreaker, correct?

Even if SMU loses at UVA next week and UVA beats VT to go 5-3 and UL lose to PITT to finish 4-4, still doesn’t help. Correct?

Cause all of us are 7-1 and it goes to the same 3 way common opponent with UL being the distinction.

No matter what, SMU or MIA have to be 6-2?

I get why some on here are saying “it’s time…” and I’m not saying I totally disagree with those thoughts, but at the same time, do we honestly think if we moved on from Dabo that some other coach would come right in and make us a legit annual contender for national titles?

I try my best to be a realist, and those nattys were AMAZING, I was there… but at the same time, 8-4, 9-3, 10-2 are kinda historically what Clemson has always been…

Just saying, while I’m all for a change in “philosophy,” moving on from Dabo guarantees us absolutely nothing. 🤷‍♂️

Feels more like a “be careful what you wish for…” kind of thing.

Seemed to always give a spark to our running game, and it at least gets Adams jr/ Hayes on the field for a few reps. Even on passing plays, let mafah sit back in pass pro and release Hayes, with his quickness into the flats for a safety valve.

Where has it been? Are coaches so eager to evolve and innovate that they forget functional concepts?

Was it a jinx or brought truth to our offensive issues. Albeit, we have our share of injuries, but so do others.
Our offense is not fluid and the play calling in the 2nd half yesterday took took half the oxygen from my body. No tempo nor feel we are on the same page.... playing not to lose and almost cost us against an inferior team and 2nd string quarterback. Ugh.

Seriouz question, I hate the "we won, so shut up" mind set. Not that I don't get that winning cures and covers many issues. Who is Clemson in the SEC? Are we Ole Miss or Arkansas?

I think unfortunately we are closer to Arkansas.
