I thought it was dumb but I understand why they didn’t play much during the Georgia game. I cannot understand why these two hardly touched the field in the second half last night. If someone can help me out that would be great.
If you had to choose receivers to feed to make sure they don’t transfer I promise it’s not Turner or Stellato…..
Cade regresses when he doesn’t have dudes getting open, they can’t get open if they are on the sidelines.
Also Tyler Brown could help but maybe he can’t play this year.

Lawson has really played well last couple of games and noticed with Lawson playing well at DE last night allowed Woods to rotate back and forth from DT to DE.

I get it though.

I think Brock Glenn actually got lucky a good bit and was close to several disaster type plays, but no doubt he added some sort of spark compared to the soul sucking aura associated with DJ.

They got doubled-up in yardage and still only scored 13 points. And Clemson went vanilla on both sides of the ball when they realized FSU had no chance of scoring in bunches once behind.

But the moral victory vibe is about as high as I've ever seen for a 1-5 team that is the biggest disappointment in all of college football.

Really like how Lawson has been progressing this year. Seems to be getting better every game. Just watched him bulldoze FSU left tackle. Need Hoffler to get on the same trajectory.

to lose to some degree after going up early....and I am okay with it.

I think this team is still feeling its way, and not protecting a W on the road would have set this team back monumentally.

I wanted us to put the nail in the coffin, and I was not excited about our RZ options...but we also protected the ball and held a lead throughout. Not a perfect team, but one that can be really good at year end and REALLY good in 2025. Leaving Tally, no matter how bad they are, with a dominate stat sheet and multiple score win...is a a great thing.

Now 4-1 after beating BC today. Happy for him. He was so under appreciated by our fans.

I was unable to watch the game last night other than catch a play here and there. How did the defense look?

I know FSU stink but did they look better for 4 quarters? Did we sub a lot of guys again?

Most of you know that a TI member was murdered last May in Greenwood. Davis McClendon was a longtime TI member and a passionate Tiger fan for life. He was also one of my best friends. Needless to say the last year and half has been rough on all of us in Greenwood. It’s a small town and we knew everybody involved on both sides of the case. Davis and his family finally received justice yesterday as his killer was convicted of murder and sentenced to 45 years in prison. The case has gained national attention and has been airing on court TV the last two weeks. I just wanted to share this for people that knew Davis or had interest in the case. Hopefully all of us can finally find some peace in what has been a nightmare.

Very pleased with the offense, particularly after the game 1 showing. Fantastic run/pass balance. Rarely beating themselves. Hard to believe they’ve been that bad on third downs yet so productive otherwise. Obviously have to assess red zone play calling.

On defense, there’s still some noise in the numbers from the two blowout wins. I saw before last night’s game that one efficiency rating had our defense at #9. That seems awfully generous based on the eye test. Our pass rush is perhaps the worst it’s been in over a decade. Even when we blitz, we don’t seem to get to the QB all that quickly. Glenn escaped a few times and picked up yards. In terms of pass coverage, we got lucky a few times last night with dropped passes from FSU. I acknowledge that the first team D has generally done a good job preventing the other team from scoring, but overall we just don’t seem nearly as fast and disruptive on defense as we’ve all come to expect.

The more I think about this game I have a hard time seeing why we would play our starters. The game is clearly a 40+ point margin of victory with the starters. Not really worth risking injuries.

Playing all the back ups would also make the game more entertaining for fans. Game could be close the first half before the Clemson backups pull away by 21 or so points.

Just an idea since we have to think about the playoff.

Is not good at his job. Roddy Jones is actually one of the better young color guys. It’s a shame he’s stuck with this dude. He’s awful.

They’re truly making a concerted effort so far in protecting what’s left of their brand. As much as it sucks, it helps us that Miami has been protected 2 straight weeks in a row. The non-targeting call was even worse than last week.

The SEC has consistently protected the brands. I just hope that we are protected down the stretch. Still have nightmares of the 2016 PITT game where the conference tried to absolutely screw us. My hunch is that the ACC won’t do that again this year from what we’ve seen thus far with Miami.

I’ll admit I got caught up in worrying about how badly we beat teams or how good we looked during the playoff years. Back then it was such a beauty pageant, you had to not only win but LOOK GOOD doing it.

Now, it’s pretty much win and you’re in. Win your conference or probably even play for a title and you’ll likely be in the playoff. After a few down years, I’m enjoying the winning again. We’ve had some ugly spells the last couple games. But we are moving the ball, seeing good OL play, and watching some young guys grow up. I’ll take a two-TD victory over FSU any day. We are 4-1.
