When you say the president was "charged", charged by whom? If he was "charged", what was the outcome? Was he convicted? The truth is, his charity gives away more money than it takes in. Not sure about a party, but Trump is definitely against fed manipulation and once he's reelected, he will address deficit spending. If he gets a repub house and senate, he will beat them into submission. If the congress remains split, it will be harder because of the "Resistance". Just my opinion. In his first term, Trump has had to compromise with congress and their overspending habits, just to get the enormous amounts needed to rebuild the military.
But I agree that as a rule, both parties have no self control when it comes to spending.

I see Trump as just a concerned citizen who is on a mission to give the country back to the citizens by breaking the ruling class bureaucracy., which he calls the swamp. I really believe that we are on the cusp of seeing just how corrupt the Swamp has really been; for decades. Trump is not a socialist; Obama is. Trump gave us tax cuts, and is promising more. I'm fine with saying Congress is a gluttonous, free spending mob; regardless of which party has been in control. You have to remember, though, that, especially early on, there were plenty of never Trumpers in congress on the repub side. Trump's staunchest supporters in the House are people who were once considered Tea Party members. Well, then you don't realize how many Never Trumpers were in congress after the 2016. Paul Ryan, chief among them. He talked a good game but would not work with Trump when it came down to it. Kim continues missile testing and today threatened to call Trump some dumb name. The point is, Trump said this nuclear deal was complete and it clearly wasn’t. It’s not even in talks now. This makes me feel lied to.

I believed some of the things you do about Trump having the potential to alleviate some of the corruption issues in DC but he just hasn’t. In the beginning, I believed his claims of making all of our trade deals better and alliances stronger but he doesn’t follow through. After so many times of him telling me a deal with X was complete, then seeing him get into a public pissing match with X, then the deal being gone, I have lost faith in Trump. It’s easy to say the Democrats have opposed him so he couldn’t complete stuff and that’s true but other presidents get things done. You can agree or disagree with everything Obama or Bush or whoever did but they accomplished a lot more than Trump. I feel that she’s stated she wants wording changed regarding greenhouse gas emissions, pharmaceutical protections for big companies, and workers rights. She’s negotiating the points that she disagrees with and has publicly stated those things. Trump just screams that she doesn’t do anything and it’s been a “done deal for months.” That’s not true - there are specific things being negotiated and I would love to see him address those things with a solution. Regardless, the USMCA is one deal and I hope it gets done. That’s still only one trade deal replacing/modifying NAFTA..not exactly groundbreaking progress or change.

When I say I'm opposed to globalism, it would include ideas such as: I don't believe the US should give the same rights to non citizens as citizens. I do not believe in open borders. I do not believe in being subjected to rules and regs from foreign authorities, (such as the EU governing body. The Brexit movement would anti-globalism). Being anti-globalism, by definition means being against the Paris Climate deal,etc.

I watched a good bit of Fox and CNN after the report came out to compare and they’re spitting images of each other. They piece together the most outlandish parts of a story and repeat them over and over to push their rhetoric.
