Most of what I see in post 16 is unfounded, and frankly, uneducated opinion. Like his take on the Iran Deal. Totally and patently false. Iran never actually signed a deal, so technically, there is no official deal. Not even the dems in the Senate would back the deal at the time O was trying to make it. This was a concoction of the Obama admin that there was deal. If there was a deal, then I'm sure one of you can give the date on which it was signed.
The gov't shutdown was one of the most brilliant political moves in modern history. During the shutdown the press was forced to cover it and the public became aware that the dems have been for border walls in the past and now really are for open borders. Trumps poll numbers went up over 50% during this time.
The people who aren't now forced to buy something they don't need are very happy the individual mandate is gone. The truth is your premiums have going up at higher rates ever since O'care was rammed down the throats of the American people.
The Swamp is being drained. Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr, James Baker, Bill Preistep, etc are all gone. Traitors all.
China: So he was inferring that everything was fine with China before. That's ignorance. Trump is beating them into a deal. Make no mistake, China is a much bigger threat to us than Russia could ever think about being.

Did you watch the Cohen hearing? I'd love an honest opinion about the criminal allegations he made against Trump and the moral shortcomings he demonstrated with his testimony.
(Unfortunately, all I expect from you and Growls at this point is something like--well he lied before (even if it was for or possibly at the behest of Trump) and he will lie again (even though that would mean increasing his hard prison time instead of helping him to possibly get a reduced sentence and makes ZERO sense at all.))

Cohen is a POS, that's pure and simple and he's looking out for himself. Anyone who takes this guy at his word is just plain stupid. For me personally Cohen and Trump are the same in this... how can you tell they are lying... well their lips are moving.
One thing we do know is that Trump employed this guy for 10 years and regularly sang his praises (this is hiring the best and brightest?) UNTIL Cohen got busted and put under pressure to testify. THEN all of a sudden Cohen is the worst person in the world. Standard Trump tactics in other words. But that doesn't take away from the fact that Trump hired this guy and employed him as a "fixer" for 10 years. That says something, no?
But just because Cohen has lied doesn't mean he can't tell the truth (Just like Trump himself). You just can't believe their word alone. One interesting detail I did notice (and I'm sure that there are many more I missed) was the statement that Trump knew in advance about the Wikileaks release of the Clinton emails ... That's something that Trump and company have repeatedly denied. A lot of folks have pointed out Trump saying that there was some info coming out on Clinton next week (ahead of the Wikileaks dump). Trump's camp said that was just coincidence and there's really no way of proving otherwise. Now though, you have someone who says he knew. Now you have an action and an accusation that fit together.
Let's say another known liar Roger Stone (or one of his minions) comes out and says that Trump knew about this. NOW you start believing them and not believing Trump. At least normal people anyway. Trumpians believe Trump no matter what.

All I've seen are the snippets from the hearing. My main takeaway was that Cohen, once again, denied any Russian collusion and reiterated that he never traveled to the Ukraine or wherever. Also, I find it interesting that Lanny Davis has been representing him for free.
You're going to list out for me these criminal allegations. I didn't see anyone talking about criminal allegations last evening.
You bring up a good point for sure. BUT, my question is do you believe him? The Republicans spent all day saying how you can't believe anything that comes out of his mouth. And I agree with them (see my above post). But you can have it both ways. Either this guy is credible or not. So if you are going to take him at his word on the Russia thing, then you have to take him at his word on the other stuff too. Or at least normal folks would.
I expect Trumpians to take the same tactic they do on the media. Anything that isn't favorable to Trump is fake news or a lie. Anything positive about Trump is the truth.
Allegedly Trump was inflating the value of his assets and lying about his revenue on loans. Republicans had no response to these accusations. They just kept calling Coehen a liar and he kept saying he brought proof.

2. OIG report
3. Declass of everything Rosenstein has been hiding
This is correct, the Iran deal was not a signed document or a treaty. It was an agreement that was only ever going to be enforced as far as it was politically expedient to all parties.
This is pretty much all not truthful, except that the Dems had been in favor of more border fencing before it was Trumps Wall in terms of politics. That said, it was not a brilliant move, and it hurt both Trump and congressional Republicans in almost every poll.
Obamacare was never a good solution, it was just supposed to be better than the old status-quo. Was it a better solution than nothing? The Heritage Foundation thought so.

This isn't even close to the actual situation and Trump himself acknowledged that when he took credit yesterday for signing off on U.S. Cyber Command shutting down the GRU's IRA group on election day.
First--you should watch it in its entirety. Seriously. You will see this pattern emerge. One side is grandstanding with narratives--not interested in the truth or asking real questions. The other side also does grandstanding and gives some dumb speeches, but questions get asked--grilling and digging, something that hasn't been done on that oversight committee during the past two years (except when it was politically expedient to attack US institutions and law enforcement as a subterfuge).
I won't list everything alleged but we got details from Cohen about Russian collusion in 2016, Cohen said Trump knew in advance that his eldest son, Donald Jr, was meeting Russians promising dirt on Hillary Clinton – and that WikiLeaks would be releasing emails stolen from Democrats by Russian operatives. Trump talked to Stone is definitely important.
Then you have the evidence of hush money payments that violate campaign finance laws for Trump and Trump Jr (we now know is likely executive 2). Then you have the overvaluing or devaluing of assets and property on taxes and to insurance companies/banks that could all be breaking the law.
That is just off the top of my head.
We aren't going to get the Mueller report until the Trump children are either interviewed or indicted. They either have to be asked about their involvement or knowledge (esp with Trump Tower and Russians meeting) or they are targets of the probe.
The desire to have the report done this week was the same nonsense coming from people that kept saying it would be done by the end of the year, etc. etc. Wishful thinking with a new AG (unless he turns out to be corrupt, which I don't think is the case).
I can't wait for that OIG report too! Will it be like the Red November? Can't wait.

It isn't against the law--but it was a meeting with RUSSIANS in Trump tower. This meeting was LIED about by Don Jr. Why? I added that to point out his potential Russian ties and connections to TRUMP TOWER MOSCOW.
But about that meeting there is the potential that he lied about it to Congress and also a provision of the Federal Election Campaign Act, Section 30121 of Title 52, broadly outlaws donations or other contributions of a “thing of value” by any foreigner in connection with an American election — or even an express or implied promise to take such action, directly or indirectly.
Now--there would need to be corroboration to prove intent (which could lead to a charge to conspiracy to defraud the US). Very difficult to prove but it doesn't mean it isn't completely unethical behavior.
