Listening to Qualk and Ben yesterday, they dropped a not so subtle hint that RJ Godfrey may be considering coming back next year.
They were talking about how well Brad has done with roster construction and keeping the ones here we want to keep. They mentioned that the bis loss was probably OMax. Then Dawes/Honor left, but that was probably ok with the staff. Then, a texter brought up RJ.
Next thing you know, they are both being sheepish and snickering about it. Mentioned that "wouldn't completely close the door on RJ". Mentioned that RJ was gonna have to sit behind Sheff, and then asked "is Sheff gonna be here next year". Then talked about how both sides left on good terms here, and how much RJ still really loved Clemson.
I don't know if there is any smoke at all to that fire. But I'd be happy with that development, if true.
