You're taking this to a place I wasn't trying to go - I was simply making a point about the mass distribution of fake propaganda made by the owner of the biggest communication mega-phone in world history, hence why millions of Americans falsely believe that she is an actual Communist and voted against her for reasons other than what she actually stood for.

I don't have to agree with everything she has said and done to think she would have been the better choice for the stability of this country, though I do think she has moderated her views after four years of being second in line to the Presidency.

When it comes to equity, she should have just said she wants to level the playing field so that everyone has the same opportunities to reach their highest potential, which would be better for all of us if we're honest.

And for your comment about confiscating assets, why are you fine with getting a huge tax break that will stick Americans with an immense bill that will have to be paid back by all of us, even those that got no benefit from your windfall? Your gains equal our debt in other words.

On tax breaks, I have a different perspective. At least for me personally, Trump’s tax plan wasn’t so much a break as a move in the general direction of a more fair and equitable tax code. One that wasn’t so punitive for those who earn a good living.

I actually signed my 2023 return yesterday. Thanks to some creative maneuvering with my CPA, I was able to get my effective rate down from an estimated 31.5% to 30%. And the actual dollar figure was eye-popping. How can anyone possibly think that I’m not paying my fair share when most of the country pays an effective rate that is less than half of what I pay? And a dollar value that is a low single digit % of what I pay?

No, Americans are getting stuck with debt because of runaway government spending, entitlements and those who actually aren’t paying their fair share. The ire of anyone concerned about getting stuck with an immense bill should be directed in those directions. Certainly not mine.
