In honor of the Worst car thread. Gotta be some additionally great stories about awesome cars. I’ll start.
In 2003, I bought a 1993 Toyota Camry wagon with 136k mikes on it for $3600 off eBay.
I proceeded to drive it through 43 states that summer and visited every corner of the USA; I think I put about 20k miles on it in 2 months. Amazing summer.
All in all I owned it for 6 years and other than routine maintenance, the only repair I had to do in that time was replace the radiator. Never gave me one single instance of trouble. Not once.
Sold it with 225k mikes on it for $3400!

I thought I would never come out so well financially on a car again in my life, but then I bought a 2014 VW TDI right before their diesel scandal. Got to drive that thing 100% for free for 2.5years with VW buying it back from me.
