Biden admin spends $40 billion on electric car charges.

As they should. It should be private businesses driving these initiatives and changes. Not mandates from government. Once a market is realized then by all means our government should begin to assist with infrastructure. But it seems they’ve put the cart before the horse too often and we end up with waste. You could make the same argument over energy, government seems to want solar and wind, despite their ineffectiveness vs nuclear power while simultaneously telling us we need to move to more EVs. The grid cannot support it and the market doesn’t appear to support it.
I think you are being short sighted by saying the market doesn't support EV's. If you look at it analytically, what the market is really saying is that they only like Tesla's. The Tesla model Y was the best selling car in the world last year. So I just can't buy the argument that the market does not support EV's.

If you can get past your biases i think you would open up a great chance for an investment. I think Tesla stock will be much higher by year end. I think the market is holding tesla down because of Elons outspokenness, and this will eventually rectify itself. And then you have the release of the robotaxi coming up in Austin this summer and "several cities" by year end. I don't think most people understand how valuable robotaxi will be. Time spent driving is converted into productivity and i think this is immensely valuable.

Directly from Elons mouth are 1) He thinks the stock will really pick up late 2025 going into 2026 because they are releasing new products 2) He told someone that bought $62 million of stock "Good buy" a couple days ago. This tells me he thinks the stock is undervalued.

EV's are the future. If you have not driven an EV yet, you should test drive one so that you can see why they are so much better.
