This team made me a little less cynical. Besides 2018 football, I don't know if I have ever been prouder of a team in regards to how they competed and trusted one another.
I also think I've been a little more educated on the amount of breaks it sometimes takes to win a basketball game, much less string together a run. As hard as we played on defense, we caught some breaks with opponents missing shots until we caught no breaks against Bama.
I thought we needed to 1) get good PG play, 2)shoot well from the field, 3)make free throws, and 4)catch some breaks. Against the tide we didn't get the last 2.
I do think it was potentially a program changing run in regards to the respect BB earned from his own fanbase and around the country.
