GD the anti-vaxxer brigade is maddening. I would be 100% OK with that position if the only ones that would get sick and die are the anti-vaxxers themselves. My body my choice all the way! But the more people that dont get vaccinated, the greater the chance that COVID mutates into something much worse that undoes all of the good from the vaccine and we end up right back where we were last April (or much, much worse if you really want to go to worst case scenarios). It just isnt that complicated. It really isnt if you simply take the politics out of it.

Literally the opposite of this is true. At least come with a link to some bogus source if you’d like to make this claim. As of July 12, the latest data is showing that 157 million Americans have been vaccinated. Of those 157 million, only 5,492 vaccinated Americans have been hospitalized or died. That comes out to 0.00000035%. But please go on with this garbage.

Sadly that is probably more related to ”how” it was injected not “what” was injected. If it is done wrong problems can occur regardless of whether you inject tetanus toxoid, heroine, or the COVID vaccine.
Nobody is making them get it. Just make life miserable for those who choose not to. It’s the same strategy that “pro-lifers” employ towards women seeking elective abortion services. “Oh you can still get an abortion, but the only place we have open in your state is 4 hours away, is open one day a week from 11:30-12:15, and you have to get two letters signed by separate physicians within 48 hours of the procedure, but it’s still legal”.
You can still fly and travel, but you may have to provide a negative test, still wear a mask (whenever airlines drop masks for vaccinated passengers), or quarantine upon arrival.
That’s the way it is and that’s the way it should be. If you don’t want to perform simple public health precautions, then your life should be made miserable. After all, it’s your choice, live with the consequences right?

Don't worry. The people claiming they shouldn't take a non-fully approved vaccine will come up with another reason not to take it once it becomes approved. It is just a flavor of the day for them. Now if Trump were still President and going out and speaking about how important the vaccine was, they'd be lined up to get one. But their leader is silent and got his vaccine out of public view.

I made a less civil post but deleted it after reading Cris's request. I will just say there is apparently a serious lack of critical thought and reading comprehension amongst a significant portion of this board. I hope the future brings a little clarity to some of the misinformation that has run rampant about vaccinations. And I hope that most of our team gets vaccinated ASAP. It would be a travesty to lose games based off of something so avoidable.

Nowhere in that article does it say that 48% of new cases are vaccinated Americans, but thank you for your non emotional correction.
As has been constantly stated, the vaccine does not 100% prevent you from getting the virus, but it is well over 99% effective at preventing hospitalization and/or death.

Maybe low death rate but certainly high symptoms for a disease in young athletes even who are very robust. Might have ruined potential football careers of Justin Foster and Xavier Thomas certainly knocked them down for an entire year. Also saw in an interview a Clemson Olineman, Trent Howard I believe was hospitalized w covid. Not typical effects of a normal virus on young adults in the top 0.5% of fitness shape for the human race
