I feel gross about using this site but even right leaning fact-checkers say this is untrue. Are you going to delete it now?

"Did Malia Obama say she "deserved every penny of the $2.3 million she got from USAID" and was this payment reported by a news website or public official? No, that's not true: The quote about the USAID payment originated on a satirical Facebook page with a clear disclaimer. The page owner is known for tricking conservatives into liking and sharing made-up content.

The claim appeared in a Facebook post (archived here) published on February 11, 2025, on a Facebook page named "America's Last Line Of Defense." It featured the following text:"

This is a huge problem.

Ken Paxton: Soros Controls 70% of Texas Through Elected DAs

Ken Paxton warns that George Soros has funded district attorneys in major Texas cities, controlling 70% of the state’s population and hampering crime prosecution.

“George Soros has figured out how to destabilize America. He’s elected DAs in Democratic counties (Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio), controlling 70% of Texas’ population. These Soros-funded DAs won’t prosecute crimes, creating an open invitation for cartels and foreign crime groups. Our legislature could fix this by giving the attorney general concurrent jurisdiction, but they haven’t.”

Serious question, if every single news story that came out that the left didn't agree with, we said cover story, or "no one believes that", etc and dismissed it, what would you do? I don't get it. At some point, you are going to be wrong about something. It's not even a big deal. Someone sees someone else's wealth, and says, must be fraud! Which, given what they make, I get it. But people do make money, people have spouses, etc. Sometimes there just is explanations behind things. You can still think there's corruption, but understand that not every case is actually corruption. Makes it really hard for you to convince anyone that doesn't already agree with you. If literally everything is a conspiracy, and you don't think you're ever wrong, just that there is some other nefarious reason, I would never be able to trust you. Because no one, myself included, is right 100% of the time.

Except for Anthone Fauci. He "is" the science.

The bigger problem is, they don't care if what they say is true. You can prove it to them and they'll still post it three more times.

Steven Bannon calls it "flooding the zone with shit"

I think my issue I'm talking about is they don't believe your proof. And I just don't understand having an opinion that you're trying to prove to someone, but not accepting or explaining away every form of proof that differs from yours.

When given something from the right, it feels like I see yourself and others provide opposing viewpoints, or debunking so to speak, or explaining the nuance. But when given something from the left, I see them just say "no one believes that" or cover story or deep state or can't trust the media. And like, if you literally won't accept any other explanation but your own opinion (assuming you weren't there, I get it if its a personal experience), I just don't get it.

There are certainly a lot of things that are matter of perspective, and I see people call "liar" to the other side based on perspectives a lot, which whatever, not lying just differing in opinions. But sometimes things are numbers or actual verified processes, and people still don't believe. And if you have the ability to explain away any evidence that doesn't fit your view, you aren't being honest with yourself.

You can see that most of them have been trained to distrust all media except for media that tells them what they want to hear and now that Elon has made X so far-right friendly, they all seem to trust that outlet the most and there are thousands of propagandists there who are willing to feed the beast, so to speak.

Again, I don't think they care about the truth if it doesn't align with their beliefs so you can tell them until you're blue in the face and they won't accept it because it would mean they're wrong or they've been duped. It's uncomfortable so they ignore it.

I've given up on the majority of the daily posters here but over the years I've gotten many DMs from people who never post, either thanking me for opening their eyes or telling me they appreciate me putting up the fight, so I do it now mostly for people who might only be reading.

I wish I could let it all slide but misinformation is literally killing this country right now and I don't have the ability to just look away. That doesn't mean I'm always right but I really do care that what I say is true. Some will hear it, some won't but if it even makes a small difference for a few people it's worth it to me.

It's the phenomona known as "The little boy that cries wolf". The left lost all credibility.

Joe Biden was sharp as a tack, amirite? Remember when y'all tried to sell us that?

Remember when y'all tried to sell us Kammy even though she never got a vote? LOL

And now you want people to believe you?

The only training we got was watching the media. If we distrust them after all their lies then that is their own problem.

Democrats have no credibility. They lied for 3 years about Joe Biden. They covereded for him. And when they got exposed, they fvcked the American people over by stealing their votes and appointing kammy.

No one is following that lead for a long, long time.

Whatever piggy, you're trying to condense this down to simpleton terms to easily explain away a world of facts that you'd prefer to ignore. Ignorance is bliss in the sty.

It would help if you start talking to people, not "the left". You know damn well that I never tried to do any of that.

And what I'm trying to tell you is that not ever admitting when you are wrong, you become that little boy that cries wolf yourself. I could take y'all more seriously if you could say a theory, be provided more information that explains why the theory was wrong, then just admit you had it wrong, and we move on to the next topic.

Maga calls things out when they think things are wrong. We dropped the hammer on Vivek when he was wrong. But right now, we are pleasantly surprised at President Trump and do not think he is doing anything wrong. He is doing exactly what he campaigned on.

That's part of the problem. The more wrong it is, the more the maga machine goes into overdrive and creates an alternate reality to make it right, and you all go along with it, even if you saw it with your own eyes.

That's such Bullshit and you know it. MAGA yells and screams, then pivots to some new grievance when proven that it's bullshit.

One easy example, Haitians eating Pets. Show me where you ever admitted that it was complete garbage.
