So why do you think the Trump Administration approved that in 2018?
It happened under the first Trump administration, payments stopped in 2022 so the Trump admin paid them more than the Biden admin did. So how is this “democrat fascism?”

Though the Department of Defense did make a $9 million payment, it was actually issued to Thomson Reuters Special Services—the data and research arm of Reuters, not the newsroom—and the project was not to deceive society, as Musk’s post may imply. Have you ever worked for the Federal government or known someone who did? For the most part (there ones that are not good employees), people want to do the right thing and support the mission of their organization. Talk to them and ask them.
