Demonization of FBI leading to this?

Lol! Hey genius!! Guess what?? All Presidents have the right to declassify ANYTHING THEY WANT TO.
GUESS WHAT ELSE.?? He told the Secret Service he was taking DECLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS.
Guess what else? He did it a YEAR AND A HALF AGO!
Guess what else? They subpoenaed him two months ago and his lawyers were cooperating!
OMG you will believe anything the media tells you. They. Have. Nothing.
There were over a hundred agents on the ground, in the air, out on the water. They drove in massive trucks and made the biggest staged media shit show they could for a big fat nothing burger. They spent 9&1/2 hours ransacking the place leaving it a disheveled mess. It was pure political intimidation but it has back fired enormously.
Does seem like a little overkill just to get in melanias panty drawer looking back. As they say tho hindsights 20/20

So you seriously think Trump gave out the names of FBI agents?
WTF about this catch phrase whataboutism? I could go back thru hundreds of post and direct this same point to all the democrat's. It's not whataboutism, is called a level playing field.

Tell me about cops being ambushed!
I am having a hard time following your logic. Who else had access to the unredacted warrant? Seriously asking. You think the DOJ is the one to feed Breibart this info? Are you a flat earther?

Not that I think the DOJ would leak the names of the agents but they did leak "Nuclear documents" to the media after Garland's presser where he suggested he only worked through the courts as far as information share.

Are you drunk typing.? You claiming bullshit doesn’t it make it true. You are either ignorant or a liar if you think a president can on a whim declassify anything. That is an absolute lie that only simpletons keep repeating to defend Trump. The reality is a president has the discretion to declassify anything but there is an actual declassification process of documenting what is happening and updating the documents with their new status. How much of a dumbass do you have to be to think the greatest country in the world would have a sophisticated classification and access control system and be okay with someone on a whim taking and sharing the most highly classified documents without notification and logging. There is apost by @dpic73 with the actual regulations when it comes to document management. But hey, you can believe the laws and regulations or your fantasy world where Trump is sin-free, a paragon of virtue. Do you also believe in flat earth? Santa Claud? Elvis is still alive?

Also, you forgot of a few details of the raid, you didn’t mention the nuclear attack against the resort, the navy seals hiding in the pool, the land mines dropped on the golf course, the d-day like invasion by 2 million troops, as reported by WarEagleWithGiantDongTeabagggingLibsandLeftiSts.truth

That is a good point, for what was supposed to be a tight investigation, it was quite convenient to have this tidbit leaked once the PR nightmare started. Definitely agree some games were being played there.

I do wonder if politics were this "cloak and dagger" back before secretive information share was so easy to achieve? There are more anonymous sources than there are future employees at the IRS it seems.........

The number of sources to various news sites for sensitive matters and investigations is insane. First of all, the lack of integrity bothers me. People with confidential info breaking the rules to support their political preference (whichever it is) is NOT okay. And it is making every investigation being litigated in the court of public opinion, which is not proper justice. So, instead of people doing their jobs and facts being the lead components of justice, w heave this back and forth based on leaks, half truths, voluntary or involuntary omission of context, etc. And people get riled up and mad because of that. Not sure what to do about it but this is a circus, not real justice and the media is making things worse.

Pretty despicable. Not sure if it's a crime or not but hope he gets locked up.

Well, MAGA is going to MAGA, right?

For all of those up in arms when we talk about Trumpism being a step toward fascism, this is actually a pretty good example of the doctrine. MAGA is about dumbing things down to a manicheistic view of the world, good vs. bad, us vs. them. No gradients, everything is black or white. This guy pushes the us vs. them to the extent that he is okay with risking these people's kids and doxxing them. What did the kids have to do with this? Nothing, but now they can be located and bullied, harassed, attacked. Most people would find this unfair and illegal, but for Trumpists, it's just an extension of the us vs. them.

Look at this guy being dumbfounded about his post being removed by Truth Social. In his mind, he is a hero. He is justified in everything he does, he is defending Trump and that's righteous vengeance. He cannot believe his own side would restrain him instead of praising him. Look at the guy attacking the FBI office in Cincinnati. Look at the Proud Boys, etc. They all feel their outrage is justified, that they are fighting the enemy for a good cause. The doctrine is about vilifying the other side to the point of making them look inhumane (starting to sound a lot like late 30s in Germany, isn't it?). Then, it's okay to do anything to them. Killing them, sending them to prison for no reason, putting their kids at risk, etc. It's okay right? They're "evil", "libs", "never Trumpers", it's okay to do anything to them because we are "justified", knights in shining armor making America great again... Oof...

Yeah, almost like leaking home addresses of SCOTUS justices or even their locations in real time ........or the funding and payment for leaked locations of conservative SCOTUS justices.

Not meant to to be a left vs right argument but in summary, the politically motivated violence has exploded in this country. Will only get worse if we don't get folks back to the center soon.

Like i said, its just the taylor lorenz special. Its just wrong. But liberals say nothing when it happens to people they dont like. Mobs outside supreme court justices were just people enacting their right to protest. There should be no surprise or complaints when someone returns fire. This is a bed they made. Its terrible for the individuals who get caught up in it, scumbag move…but the blue checkmark brigade can shove it up their hoop complaining now or castigating their perceived enemies as if they hold some high ground. They said nothing when they had a chance to denounce, the best of them simply sat in silence. Well heres where the world goes…i guess thats the adults being adults though

She was subpoenaed and then afterwards deleted every email and acid scrubbed every single device with proof on it before the deposition. They never got a warrant and raided her home or business. She was then deposed but the DOJ and FBI decided not to file charges because there was no intent.

Don’t believe her personal address was ever raided with 30 FBI agents. Happy to be proven wrong though.
NO! Her home was raided by the FBI and her stuff was taken... Here's the article from the conservative National Review. Note that this wasn't done under Trump's DoJ, but Obama's. Gosh, it's almost like the system is working (slowly). Here's your proof:

Not only that... the State Dept was actually raided as part of the FBI's investigation as well and 4 more servers were taken from there.

They didn't raid her house, they issued a subpoena (same as they did with Trump initially) , she handed over bit nothing burger after destroying evidence. Read these threads, outlines the differences in approach, especially the one on twitter where the head of NARA outlines why they didn't have to flex muscles for Hillary even after it was proven her private attorney had a thumb drive with top secret documents from 5 govt agencies yet still nothing.......

Totally agree with you. 100%. I find the harassment of the SCOTUS justices despicable as well, or any politically motivated violence for that matter.

I can't speak on behalf of liberals, I'm not one of them. But they absolutely should denounce mobs and violence regardless of who is the target.

Would be like me showing up at Jeff Bezos' house to protest my amazon prime membership going up or maybe to ask him to shut my wife's account off (could go either way) ........regardless, it doesn't feel appropriate to want to harm people or make their families uncomfortable for just doing their jobs.

Absolutely. I couldn't agree more. It's kind of funny in a sad way, but since I work at a University, a bunch of my and my wife's friends are pretty liberal (so is my wife). Being an independent, I find myself arguing the conservative side of things. Defunding the police for instance... how stupid can you get? On here the opposite is true and I find myself arguing the liberal side of things.

What bothers me the most here is that I agree with Trump in that Washington is a swamp and needs to get cleaned up. The problem I have is that Trump and company do the same things. They justify what they are doing by siting similar things that the other side has done... That's like a cop saying ... well those criminals robbed the bank, so I'm going to do that on my way home from shift, because they did it and I'll use the money to help catch more criminals. If you want to clean things up, you have to be clean yourself... and that's NEVER been Trump and never will be.

Trump has and will always stretch the bounds of law, he's not entirely different from the others for sure. I viewed his presidency as him biting off more than he could chew as in business, it's easier to work around legal issues with legal language, with government it's not as simple given political affiliation often changes the understanding of the law (age old argument for the constitution). I don't think he expected to run into the wall that he did when he started trying to make rapid change.

The reality is most people can find something they support on the opposite side of the aisle, depending on the context. Those points used to be the areas where folks could find the center .....ie " hey man, I see your point and I agree...etc etc". I'm in my 40s and what's changed over the last 12-15 years is those civil debates are no longer civil. Too many folks hold the party line at all costs which means biased only views aren't on the outskirts of each respective party, they are now nearer the center which is widening the divide. I've read all sorts of stories about lifetime friends no longer speaking because one side voted for Trump and I find that to be completely insane.

The swamp does indeed need to be drained and I do think we need a really good third party to enter the mix to put some pressure on both sides.

Im specifically speaking to the wh/media in that. The aforementioned particular member of the media has made a career of doxxing and publishing peoples personal information. The wh sat in silence with the supreme court. The media and dems in govt thought it was funny when rand paul was acosted publicly. They cheered when mobs tailed manchin and sinema everywhere. The fbi similarly was silent on sc justices. They were likely too busy investigating soccer moms

im with you, it should be wrong and should be denounced by anyone in public office. There should be a gd standard in society of how to act at the most base level. An understanding that people have differences of opinion but theyre still people and you treat them as such.

but a standard was set when it was allowed to happen and even cheered. I feel bad for those who get hurt by it. But i dont wanna hear a word from the media/govt dems now…whatd they expect to happen??

We all know how deliberate Garland is so I doubt he would have taken this step unless he knew he had the goods. The guy is slick and plays chess so subtly that you don't even understand that you're being checked. This former federal prosecutor explains arguments that could be brought by both sides and let's just say it doesn't look good for Trump or his lawyers, especially since we know Robb has already lied and any attorney that agrees to help Trump verify he de-classified the documents would have to waive attorney-client privilege, which could make him the fall guy if it's untrue. Interesting thread.

True was very deliberate reading a letter from a teachers union and concluding he needed to send the fbi after soccer moms. That was slick

The DOJ also just subpoenaed the security video footage from Mara-Lago for the last 60 days, which would make it illegal for Trump to release footage in his own defense…….this is the same DOJ who is refusing to release 14k hours of Jan 6th footage requested by repubs.

So as the data continues to come out, DOJ looking more and more likely to be up to no good.

wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what it comes to. That’s what happens when you have a two tiered justice system. Two tiered justice systems don’t survive.
Has Hillary been raided yet?

maga crazies all of a sudden complaining about a 2 tiered justice system is just too good. too ****ing good.

Well you paint the guy as a brilliant strategist who wouldnt make a false step. Just pointing out in reality hes a gutless partisan as hes already demonstrated. Not exactly whataboutism…its exhibit a of how blinded you were to reality while you were stroking him off. You are a spectacular level of delusional tho and i for one am damn impressed

Nah maybe you forgot bill barr made a point of not targeting political opponents and moved on, so as to not create a tit for tat war. Garland went right back to it. And now yis cant leave

You are trying to use Logic. This is the circle logic I laugh at.

Maga: "It's the Deep State".

Person with some semblance of logic: "But Trump hired him?".

Maga: "They were sercret Deep State and Trump didn't know!".

Logic: "So Trump is pretty bad at hiring people?".

Maga:. "Trump can do no wrong, It's the Deep State!".

Oh trust me, I know how this game goes.

- I make a comment about someone or anything
- You respond with a random nothingburger that you think makes that person/thing look bad
- I don't agree but you are still right and I'm dumb
- That makes you always right because you'll always be you

😅Did I get that right?
