FWIW, here is something of interest about that press box. It was constructed of reinforced concrete. The reinforcement was bamboo, not steel rods as usually employed. In the late 1930s, early 1940s, Clemson civil engineers experimented with bamboo as a replacement for steel in anticipation of WWII shortages. It proved to be a successful substitution and was used in a number of applications, including concrete barges. By the mid 1950s, concrete on the press box had deteriorated and flaked off, exposing the bamboo strands.
